DuArt Film Labs in New York provided Benedetto with the Super 16mm camera package to make the film. It was the same camera package they gave to Lizzie Borden for "Working Girls" and Spike Lee for "She's Gotta Have It."
Joe Benedetto wrote the screenplay at age 16 and directed the film at age 20.
