This was an epic fail. I'm not sure if the other reviews came from the director and actors, but they couldn't be more disingenuous. This film was slow, dull, boring and lacked any cinematic elements to keep the audience engaged. I went from not caring about the characters to hoping something awful happened to them. The pacing is INCREDIBLY SLOW. So much so that we paused to check how much longer we had until the closing credits, no less than 4 times. . . In a 73 minute attempt at a movie. The script lacked imagination and anything that approached intrigue. I wish the cast and director the best of luck in their future endeavors because this mess ain't it chief.
Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather. Lord of the Rings.and Shcindlers List didn't get a single 10 review and this movie got 2 out of the 2 reviews given. Surprisingly a movie that doesn't acknowledge itself as a horror comedy and since it's devoid of anything close to funny that's true yet it's called a horror comedy within the double 10's and unfortunately I've seen Scooby Doo episodes more spine tingling, , actually all Scooby Doo episodes are scarier then this so horror is as big a stretch as comedy. This movie is what happens when a generation of kids play youth sports that don't keep score and everyone gets the same trophy this is the equivalent to a toddlers picture of a six legged cow with 2 heads that gets hung on a refrigerator door that 18 years later is framed and hung a wall because that kid has never grown up.

A wonderful performance from Kevin Bry as a creepy therapist, and Victoria Reese as a troubled young women.
Throughout the film, feelings of suspense and unease grow and kept me on the edge of my seat! The plot culminates in a beautiful way leading to an ending that left me shocked, and made me question everything I thought I understood.
It's home brewed feel adds to the overall mood of the film, with beautiful shots and sound design.
Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to see something new, suspenseful and thought provoking.
Looking forward to seeing more of Martina Reese's filmography!

I really enjoyed Zombie. It combined believable low-key acting with fine camera work, good use of settings for action, a really great score, and a creepy story that left you wondering what really happened in the end.
Kevin Bry and Victoria Reese were outstanding as the lead characters. But the supporting cast was also strong. We get sucked into the story and find that we don't really know on whom to rely for the truth of the action. This ambiguity plays out throughout the movie, leaving us somewhat in the dark at the end, which, in this movie, is quite satisfying.
Details of shot selection and general visual development helped to hold your interest. The characters displayed a realism that helped keep the story engaging.
I certainly recommend this film for anyone interested in horror films with a light, rather than a heavy-handed approach to story telling.

I loved this film -- watching it with a group of three and everyone felt the tension and creepiness but also laughed at some of the terrific comedy. The character of the therapist (Kevin Bry) is one of the best/worst characters I've seen in a film. I loved how much I hated him.
Zombie is well-shot with very intensional framing and use of color. The music and cinematography are excellent. I don't like music that tells me what to think and Zombie's score is perfect. Music enhances rather than drowns. The director gets just the right mix of elements and the script is tight and fun.
All the characters are interesting with great performances by even the folks with small parts. I liked Victoria Reese a lot -- and also how the film leaves us guessing about whether she is reliable (no spoilers!).
The film would be fun with a group or just if you are the mood to be taken into another world that is colorful and fun -- and you like zombies.
