Directing/writing/editing team failed this flick. She says no, but then yes, but then no, but then yes over and over. It's takes the "turn around he's right behind you" feeling out of play and makes you want to bang your head against a wall.
Creepy multiverse variant of Channing Tatum is on the hunt, finds a somewhat attractive lady that has serious issues seeing red flags, evil Tatum delves further and further into coo-coo land, situations escalate, he's dangerous, she's in danger.
The movie may have gotten a few more stars if the first half hour didn't make you want to bash something over the whole "go away I never want to see you again...sure come in for some wine!!" dialogue.

Bad. Just all kinds of B-A-D bad. The writer could use a few classes on how to write a thriller and dialogue. I just can't believe this was allowed to be made. Tell me one woman who actually shows she has a clue would actually allow herself to be manipulated over and over again with the lamest lines ever. Totally missed the mark, could have been better if someone else had read the script other than the writer. -5 from me.
The actors and actresses were horrible. This should have never made it on any streaming services. I agree with the other reviews, why allow someone to keep entering your home when you are not interested.

I don't know why I have a thing for these terrible made for TV movies. The lead lady is a bad actor but not as bad as her best friend. And why would someone taking a course to become a therapist fall for the dudes narcissistic "charm"? I haven't actually given anything away.

Horrible actors, unnatural dialogue, soap opera vibes. I probably could give a laundry list of critiques for this film, but I'll save myself the aggravation.

Although i will never condone the behaviour of the antagonist in this film, it does serve as an example of just how easily men can be mislead by women.
This woman plays classic mind games with the antagonist throughout this film. She kicks him out of her home, only to allow him back in 5 minutes later, he acts inappropriately, she kicks him out again. The next day he comes back, she allows him in, he acts inappropriately, she kicks him out. He contacts her, she lets him him, they sleep together, she immediately kicks him out... And so this pattern continues.
Yes, the guy is nuts, but it's difficult to tell who the real crazy one is in this mess of a film. The scenarios, the dialogue, the entire plot is like something a prepubescent boy whose hormones are running wild would write, believing it to be a romantic. Some of it is only marginally more inventive than "i've just moved in next door, and i seem to have run out of coffee". It's embarrassing as a film and another example of one of those films where you genuinely wonder how it was ever made.

What an absolute shocker. I don't think I have ever seen so many bad actors in one movie. The whole thing is ridiculous from start to end.
I can't think of anything positive to say regards this movie apart from it does end although the 85 minutes felt like an eternity.
If I hadn't of paid to view I would of switched off after the first 10/15 minutes if not sooner.

The two actresses really sucked. They really dropped the ball with the best friend missing one of her fake nails and then trying to hide it in the next scene lol. That cracked me up I mean how cheap are you not to glue her nail back on and reshoot the scene...anyway...i thought the stalker guy was a good actor, the women not so much. Story was creepy enough, and exactly why I dont let men know where I live. Ever. I'll be following the male actor now, he did creep me out! Two extra stars for him otherwise id say its a 3.
This movie looked like it was made by freshman college students who turned this in last minute. It was very bad. I wish I can take back those 85 minutes. This movie was a 10/10 in terms of Comedy. I did nothing but laugh at the terrible acting. TERRIBLE.

The most annoying film ever, everything about Mike is annoying, his voice, his acting, his face. Couldn't watch all of it as the male actor was really bad and absolutely irritating! Any normal person would've called the police with that much harassment! Not let him come in again for a drink of wine. Typical stupid film making out the woman as weak and easy to intimidate. If Prime don't put any decent free films on prime I will happily cancel my subscription. Good luck to anyone who can watch it without wanting to punch the man's face in. Absolutely awful from the first half hour I watched it!.

Firstly, the lead who plays the stalker, fantastic performance. Some of the others too did really well. This might look a simple role to play but it's not.
Now the issues I've got with this movie, well I'm not going to lie this was really bad and too many poor things to mention. Does that clear it up yet? No? Okay let's break it down a bit.
This is an American film and so like always, no matter the genre - all repetitive. Cliche and cheesy.
The female lead, I think has just about as many issues as the stalker minus the killing. She's a student, does homework yet barely does any and is clearly fortunate and spoilt. What student had that sort of place? Oh the ones in American films of course.
So then moving on to the type of girl she is, girl power and all that but like so many serial online daters she first claims not to be looking for anything, then says he's not her type, then she's not ready for a boyfriend, next she argues knowing he's crazy and getting all the vibes then is a bit teasing with someone else and then backs off, that's fine right, but then she almost does it with another guy and then does it with the stalker anyway before meeting up with an ex. Ahem, talk about indecisive. Not only that but typical springs to mind. She was stuck up but has standards, some fairly high like most until hours later because she's not had anyone cook for her spend money on her and most of all sleep with her for a few weeks she caves in no time because it suits her. Yep sounds like girls of today.
How is it in her Venus fly trap crib, she wakes up each morning with a face full of make up and her hair done? Hmm. Also, why doesn't anyone find the bodies or see in broad day light? There's plenty there for the YouTube sin tally.
I mean come on, I know they want to make more people aware of the dangers of the dating pool as if we needed a reality check on that one, but I can't understand why film makers and actors constantly make a mockery out of us subjecting us to this trash. Nor can I understand why so many people watch this sort of stuff. Baffling.
This movie I rate one of the lowest this year, that is fair.

All these bad reviews, it's an ok movie. Don't come in expecting the best because it's not a blockbuster. The acting is ok. The dialog is a tad off and the writing is a bit off, it would have worked more if she wasn't playing a smart character. I say that because someone as smart as her would not have made the mistakes she did. It feels a little rushed. It could have been a better movie. And I think they should redo it.

Slow moving movie however, the story line is actually good. The acting is pretty good as well. For a made for tv movie, I thought it was pretty good!!
It seems like this movie had a 27$ budget, its the most generic hottot plot imaginable, the cinematography is uninspired, the colors and editing are distracting, i just don't get why this was created.

Poor. Acting/script/ especially dissapointing. It is just daft. If you are wanting to waste an hour and a half well this is for you. I can only imagine that it is an acting experience thing for the performers in front of the camera, and they are hoping that they will get better at acting in the future. She kept telling the stalker to leave her alone, yet she invites him in for a glass of wine. It is just full of nonsense to say the least. This is not a film like in the old days, this is really a film in trying to learn how to be involved in movies. If my review, don't make sense, well I have managed to describe what this does to you, it leaves you feeling what have I just watched? Utter nonsense, just like my review. They say you are who you hang about with? I have hung about with a nonsensical acting thing and feeling full of nonsense now. Beware,, do not get the nonsensical bug. Where has all the good movie makers gone now?

Dude is horrendous and a bad actor
The stalker genre is not the issue. It's how the movie leans into it that's the issue. Not once is this guy charming, sexy, attractive. Everything is UP TO ELEVEN from his first scene. He's breaking into her house, blowing up her phone, killing her neighbors, like come on. This guy has impulsively killed two people and with his personality he hasn't been caught?
My other issue is the way whatever-her-name-is portrayed. She is visibly creeped out by him from the first scene, WHY would she entertain him at all? NOTHING about this movie shows how she could be drawn to him even just for sex. They met online so already her defenses should be up. As I type this, he has killed her neighbor, broken into her home and is now sitting on her bed. What am I missing? OMG, he's touching her and she's not moving. She isn't in that deep of a sleep. This is absolute garbage and "Mike" has the most punchable face. He's quite repulsive and not in that creepy, but let's see what happens, way that Rod Steiger's Jud is obsessed with Laurie. Another question I had, and maybe I missed it, but how exactly was he tracking her movements? I don't remember a scene of him doing the typical stalker move of adding tracking software to her phone or setting up cams.
OK, sorry for the distraction. Why isn't she instinctively protecting herself? He creeped her out, but she didn't block his number? He wouldn't leave her house when she asked. She let him back in her house? Why not mail him his watch or trash it? At the risk of sounding like I'm victim blaming, the movie never gave us much in terms of her mindset. OK, she wanted to meet someone. But she had friends, so her lonliness or personality wasn't crippling. Even the lackadaisical way she hooked up with the next guy...no self-preservation? You just had a creep make himself at home in your home, and you invite the next guy like that never happened?
OMG, he has just killed two more people in broad daylight.
Pass on this one. As an avid tv movie watcher during the work day, you can absolutely do better than this by picking a Lifetime movie. There is a movie called Swindler Seduction and in that movie, the villain/swindler actually played the long game to ingratiate himself into the protagonist's life. It was truly clear how he could have charmed her and when she woke up and got rid of him, his stalking of her was actually terrifying. This guy has zero subtle qualities and there are no clues to why he's honed in on this girl.
I also think a decent subplot that would have added something to this would be if she (I seriously don't care to know her name) actually met someone in real life. You would think she would show some hesitation about the app, but the movie gives her no development at all. Oh good GRIEF. This guy has now killed two more people. Another plot point that could have added stakes was if the woman he killed in the beginning was reported missing. This dude is killing without a care in the world.
If the choice is btwn this and a shark movie (Tubi has A LOT)...choose Jaws.
