Karsono Hadi's 'Notebook' takes much too long to resolve all of the conflicts presented in the first half of the film. Hadi seems to cram all of the issue solving into the final 15 minutes of the film's presentation. It is so rushed that it fails to reach a satisfying conclusion. Dimas Anggara and Amanda Rawles work well together and their chemistry holds the film even when things fall apart.

I aways enjoy a movie whom take place in some stunning rural locations. Usual big city bore me alot. Least I can see some beautiful Sumba spots in this movie. It also fit the background story and the message that the creators tried to spread out.
