The razor glove worn by actors and crew members during interviews wasn't actually a screen used glove from any of the Nightmare on Elm Street films. The glove was actually made for the production of Never Sleep Again by independent special effects artist Jeffrey Daniel Flynn.

A love letter to the fans

This documentary is special. It's a long (but not rambling) history of the Elm Street series, from A Nightmare on Elm Street to Freddy vs. Jason. It seems, in many ways, to be dedicated to the fans who supported the franchise along the way, and it feels to me like a love letter to the fans. Featuring interviews, film clips, and cool little animation segues, this documentary is both interesting and informative, even for longtime Nightmare fans.
