In this film, the topics it talks about are not investigated, although the story seems interesting.
The biggest problem with this film is the script, which doesn't fully develop the themes it wants to make known, such as open relationships and everything that has to do with it, just as it doesn't fully develop the characters either, which doesn't help to understand them better. The premise is interesting, as is the main conflict, but the story becomes cyclical and everything is resolved very easily. The performances are convincing, the actors make us believe their characters, although Arath de la Torre exaggerates his performance to the maximum, making it tedious and not funny at all, the lighting is horrible, the comedy is not funny and is very forced, and there is little development on some characters in the end of the film.
Dealing with a taboo subject in the cinema is something very interesting, but this film does not manage to do it adequately to open the conversation about it, it is a failed attempt thanks to the little script work.

"Dos más dos" is not really a comedy, I would rather define this movie as a drama with comedic elements. The script revolves around the current theme of open relationships and what soon seems like a good idea falls apart. The director does a good job. The cinematography is good. The performances are well done. A film that without being perfect manages to entertain the viewer.
