People have frequently told Sid to pen his memoirs, but he didn't become serious about it until 2020. He and his brother Marty received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in February, which unleashed so many emotions that Sid nearly skipped the unveiling ceremony. Only weeks later, the world went into COVID lockdown. Trapped in his home and overwhelmed by too many memories to fit in his book, Sid created the show to connect with fans, regale them with "crazy stories" from his life, and provide insight into his beloved TV creations.
