Strangers Isadora "Issy" Braddock, Andrew "Drew" Stoneman and Catherine "Cate" Streetor -- siblings who were separated as infants -- are summoned to their family home, the mysterious Harridge House, in the equally mysterious town of Harridge, Nevada.

Issy, Drew and Cate leave their lives and travel to Harridge House, located in the desolate Nevada desert in the town of Harridge. When they arrive, they are meet each other for the very first time. They also meet their Aunt Sandra, the remaining matriarch of the Harridge family.

Upon arriving at Harridge House, Issy, Drew and Cate get acquainted with their mysterious Aunt Sandra and meet the housekeeper, Linda, and the cook, Roxie. Afterwards, Issy discovers Josiah Harridge's dusty old library and meets Blake and Emaline for the first time.

Drew and Cate slip away from Harridge House and explore the town of Harridge, Nevada. They meet an eccentric antique dealer and Deputy Ben Lawson. Issy, who stays behind, explores their grandfather's library looking for more answers. She discovers some very strange books in the process.

Issy, Drew and Cate explore deeper into Harridge House and soon find themselves lost among shifting corridors, hallways and rooms. To their disbelief, doors appear and disappear at random, and the hallways lead to different places each time they pass through them. Their Aunt Sandra finally finds them in a room that defies reality.

Cate goes back into town and meets Mildred, the town Librarian. Drew explores Harridge House and finds his grandfather's study. And Issy plays an eerie game of Hide and Go Seek with Blake and meets another unexpected resident of Harridge House.

Issy reels from the discovery of Blake's remains and the realization that he's a ghost. She also meets Blake's mother, Olivia Harridge. Drew receives alarming calls from both his parents and his partners, Liz and Ray, back in Kansas City. Cate and Sandra adjust to Richard's presence in Harridge House.

Back home in Kansas City, Drew confronts his parents about his adoption. Cate and Richard discover Josiah Harridge's laboratory in the cellar. Issy confronts Sandra demanding information about Blake, Emaline and Harridge House. Roxy makes an unusual offer to help Issy.

Cate seeks answers from Sandra. Blake confronts Olivia after she steals Josiah's journal. Sandra sends Mildred on an errand that takes her to Maine. Liz and Ray try to cheer Drew up, but Drew worries about his sisters back in Harridge, Nevada. Roxie offers to conduct a seance so Issy can contact Blake.

Issy and Cate lament Drew's absence while he's still in Kansas City. Sandra schemes to get rid of Cate's husband, Richard. Linda's and Roxie's relationship grows stronger. Liz and Ray try to figure out how to keep Drew from returning to Harridge House.

Drew returns from Kansas City. Everyone prepares for the seance, with some (Issy and Roxie) looking forward to it, and others (Sandra and Cate) hoping it won't happen. Richard has a fateful encounter after raiding the Harridge House wine cellar.

The night of the seance finally arrives - many secrets are revealed, and new mysteries abound - none of the residents of Harridge House -- living and dead -- will ever be the same after this eventful night, and as the series heads into its first season finale.

The first season comes to a close in this extended episode. The seance has ended, Richard is dead and Issy, Drew and Cate are left with new questions about Harridge House and the Harridge Family. They learn new information as the mysterious code in their grandfather's journal is gone, but not completely; some pages are still unreadable. Sandra is shocked to learn who killed Richard, and she sets into motion events that will carry into Season 2.
