This Korean drama/comedy in centred on Koo Kyung-yi, a former cop who when the series starts is staying home drinking and playing online games. She is called in by Na Je-hee, who works as an insurance inspector. It seems like a fairly routine case of finding out if a man committed suicide or died in an accident. It soon becomes apparent that something more sinister is going on. Koo and her colleagues start to suspect a serial killer is at work; a killer who is targeting 'bad' people. The identity of this killer, dubbed 'K', is no secret from the viewer and the investigators soon identify her... proving it and stopping her won't be easy though.
I thought this series was a lot of fun. There might not be too much in the way of mystery but the series delivers fun characters, quite a few laughs and some surprisingly tense moments. The cast does a really fine job; I particularly enjoyed Lee Young-ae's performance as Koo Kyung-yi. Kim Hye-jun impressed as 'K'. Things do get a bit quirky at times, I rather enjoyed these moments but I can understand that some viewers might think it goes too far. The fact that K is targeting 'bad' people makes her slightly more sympathetic that she might otherwise be but the series doesn't try to justify what she does. As well as the main two characters there are plenty of other great characters, these include those working with Koo and those of a more villainous nature. Overall I'd definitely recommend this to fans of Korean drama who want a touch of comedy; it was one of the best I've seen for a while.
