This is actually rare Reel One Entertainment TV movie which is technically done very well which means they can be properly done, but most of time they aren't - they always have to screw something. There is barely any loud backgroud music, very little stock footage, no bad cuts, and audio quality is good almost whole movie.
Unfortunately, there is only one reason to watch this movie, and it's if you are a Stephanie Bennett fan. I think she is a good TV actress as I watched her in the many other movies and she was never bad. She carried and saved this train wreck of movie from mediocrity. Her partner Jonathan Cherry was horrendous until half of movie - in the second half, he was so so. The rest of the cast was satisfactory.
The movie was ruined by poor writing. It is comedy above all and romance was forced in the later part of movie. Even as a comedy, it was just bad - there was not only obligatory paint throwing, but they added food one which is really tiring. The whole renovation of hotel was a bad joke - who thinks that chef doing painting and designer cooking is fun and/or logical? Also, in the whole big hotel it seems nobody works even on grand reopening!
Don't watch trailer if you plan to watch the movie as with every other ROE TV movie, it shows everything!
