Comedian Phil Laude plays Frank Stimpel, 28 years old and Germany's most German teacher. Correct, rule-obsessed, lactose intolerant - an unwavering "alman." Stimpel's life plan and his preordained career as a civil servant are shattered when he is transferred from his small-town school to a hotspot school because of a racist remark. Here, Stimpel is confronted with pedagogical hardships and emotional extremes that were not foreseen in the handbook for teachers at problem schools. But maybe the neurotic control freak will turn into an empathetic, "heartfelt" teacher after all?
