The story is great. I love how the writers make every character feel special from each other, Pure Vanilla's story is my favorite of them all, he's an amazing character design-wise with a nice backstory that got me hooked all the way to the end of the episode. However, i do have some gripes, and plot holes especially with Gingerbrave.
The gameplay, while mindless at first, felt forgiving, you will see reward after reward after reward every time you do events and collect mails, the gacha system this time is actually nice, and well-implemented.
The visuals are quite simplistic, but fluid, all of the character's emotions, animations, attacks, felt nice, and never felt clunky.
Overall, this is a pretty good game, for newer players, and even players who played OvenBreak, its prequel.

Amazing voice acting, check. Adorable art style, check. Pretty decent plot, check.
Well, it's not the best game around. It will still better than Ninjabread Man.
10/10.

Despite what you might have heard, using the Gacha system isn't the main focus. There's so much plot, fun minigames, ways to decorate your kingdom, and complete seperate storylines just to make the game feel whole. Yes, Gacha is a main part of the game, but it isn't the only way to get characters. The game is introducing many ways to guarantee a character, such as Guaranteed after usually 250 pulls, collecting shards to collect a character, a quest line with a Legendary of Choice chest, and more to come. The game is completely free to play on its own (even tho paying does give a MASSIVE advantage..), and it's entirely possible to enjoy the game without paying. Although if you don't plan to pay for a thing, expect ads, if you wan't to get rid of ads, simply buy anything, they go as cheap as less than $1, and it helps a bunch.
Great game, you miss out on so much if you don't play it.
