'At Last, Okemah!' was originally a one-act play by young adult novelist Adam Selzer (The Smart Aleck's Guide to American History, I Put a Spell on You), written when he was still in high school in 1999.
The film is dedicated to 'Miguel de Cervantes' and Woody Guthrie.
