Ken Martin recalled the series as part of an interview with the Liverpool Echo (3rd September 2017), noting: "I used to explain things to children - like why buildings didn't fall down. I wore a red suit and an L plate, because I was a professor who was always learning. It was great fun - and I had a team of children that built things."
Despite the series being called simply "Professor Lobster", Ken Martin repeatedly refers to it as "The Professor Lobster Show".
Professor Lobster was broadcast in a Thursday 4:45pm timeslot. Viewing figures are unknown, but none of the episodes made the UK Top 100.
