The misfortunes of a young prostitute (Lauren Socha) and her chaotic/violent pimp (Stephen Graham) dealing with her and some clients or friendly men are the premise of the most cinematic video by Arctic Monkeys, one for the single "When the Sun Goes Down". Great editing and excellent rhythm to follow with the electricfying song - possibly my favorite of theirs ever since its release - but the video is a little confusing with its crazed storyline, which seems quite jumpy. However, it's all well acted and I just wished to know who the plays the magician, he's very charismatic; and the whole video does like a real movie where clueless viewers will keep wondering what's the title of it. And blink or miss but band members appear quite briefly, acting as being extras of their own video. Quite remarkable. 9/10.
