The title "Weathered Underground" refers not to the radical group during the Vietnam war, but to the young and jaded hipsters of the late 2000's - ignoring the war and shunning previous conventions amidst the underground music and drug culture. It quotes a line from the picture "They look so Weathered and Jaded... 21 and they look like they've been through combat and divorce. Weathered Kids stumbling through the underground... This is our revolution..."
Writer/Director David N. Donihue plays both the role of a psychotic transvestite and a flamboyant crystal meth dealer.
