Frankly, I was a little sad when I saw that no one commented and the number of views. Although it is a newer job, but its value should be known. Please watch it, have it watched. It's not a mind-blowing comedy series, but it's really a comedy series. We haven't watched a Turkish comedy series at this level in a long time. Actors, script, costumes, references, intrigues, in short, everything is great. Even just character names are fun and the reason for laughing on their own. There were many places where I stopped laughing and tried not to miss the scene. Well done to everyone who contributed. I look forward to season two.
What did you suffer among the ignorant and peasants, Prince? 😄

First of all, I would like to thank Giray Altinok for bringing the breath of life that Turkish comedy needed. From the script to the costumes, a work of great production value has been prepared. Each episode is well-connected to make you watch the next with excitement. The jokes and the protagonist are delicately crafted. As for the casting, we probably couldn't have done better if we wanted to. Both proven experienced players and young players who will bring a new perspective to the industry were selected, which prevented us from watching a game that is neither too mediocre nor too high, and the balance between them was established very well. I don't remember watching a comedy that I enjoyed this much in a long time, let alone Turkish productions. Even in terms of production value, this is a work that I think everyone who is interested in should give a chance. I hope it will be a long-term work and we will continue to watch it with pleasure. In a long time, let alone Turkish productions.
I haven't seen such a good comedy series in a long time. In Turkey, comedy productions have not been in the forefront for a long time. Giray Altinok did a great job. He played his role very well. You will have a lot of fun while watching. Me and my friends fall about laughing. Every episode is very entertaining, Hungarian scenes are great, the jokes used in the scenes are great and funny. Minimal acting impressions, mimics are incredible. The emotional transitions provided by the mimics and the suitability of the script are extraordinary. The bold scenes exhibited, the period-appropriate decors, the images that do not stand still even though they were shot on the green screen. I haven't pressured anyone to watch a series in a long time. I hope the series continues.

Most of the Turkish comedy series maybe better than all of them, I enjoyed watching it, most of the time it was funnier towards the end, the episodes were well connected to each other, the actors were very successful, I am sure that even people with low mood will quickly raise their mood, I normally avoid laughing out loud, but it is not possible to laugh silently while watching this series, I congratulate the actors for their work, they played very professionally, I hope the new season will come, but it would be better not to extend it too long and end it well in terms of being remembered well.
The plot, the atmosphere and actors of The Prince was very nice, especially Giray Altinok who gives a life to the main character. Turkey needed a comedy serie like this. Theres details and messages about lgbtq+, feminism and theres a lot of dark humour. If anyone wants to have fun for their free time, I'd definitely recommend this since theres not many projects which has this type of absurd concept. It's actually underrated and I think people should give it a try because it deserves so much more. The main character is a bit "girly" and everyone's got their own fun personalities. There's also little plot twists.

It was a good series, I wish there was a sequel. A production with Hollywood studio quality. Especially the 3rd episode of the 2nd season was great, I really liked the pirates and the dancing and their songs.
In general, the acting and editing are quite successful, it tells the funny situations of a fictional European city-state/kingdom called Bongomia.
I also liked the costumes, the only problem is that the visual effects were quite weak, the exteriors were unfortunately monotonous and unattractive, but I think they could only do so much due to budget issues. Still, I recommend it as a nice watch.

A fresh, funny and incredibly engaging period drama that Turkiye is not used to. I've always been looking for a series with a humor in the style of "The Great", and "Prens" is a successful production that really makes you laugh in these times when we really need to laugh lately. I hope the series gets the recognition it deserves. The script, characters and humorous originality are very good. In addition, the series is not just an absurd comedy, but also contains messages. I think that "Prens" should be given a chance, as it is already difficult to find Turkish productions like that . I hope season 2 comes soon. Hurray Bongomya!
First of all, I never expected this series to be talked about so much on social media. Because there really isn't a single aspect to talk about and exaggerate so much.
The concept is nice, yes, it can be called a different work for Turkey. Similarly, the first movie that comes to my mind is "Kahpe Bizans". The main character is Prince, yes, he is an interesting character and actually has a lot of potential. But unfortunately, the script is not evaluated because it failed.
I enjoyed watching the first episode, because it was the first door opened for The Prince, it was new to me. But not much, after the second episode, nothing is added to the character. They always make you watch the same things, the same level of events and jokes, naturally it gets boring.
In terms of being innovative, yes, it can be appreciated, but frankly, despite watching all the episodes, it was not a production that I enjoyed. I am also surprised by the people who even laugh at the series.
Actually, I shouldn't be surprised, I don't think most Turkish viewers are equipped in terms of series and cinema. Naturally, the answer lies in the following question: "How competent is the Turkish audience in evaluating productions?"

"Prens is a masterful blend of compelling storytelling and exceptional performances. The series weaves an intricate narrative that captivates viewers from start to finish. The characters are deeply developed, each bringing a unique depth to the plot. The production quality is top-notch, with impressive cinematography and a captivating score. Overall, 'Prens' is a must-watch for anyone who appreciates high-quality drama and exceptional TV storytelling. Its engaging plot and rich character dynamics set it apart in the realm of television. A standout series that deserves every accolade it receives."

Officially, all the episodes flowed like water, it's a very nice and fluent series, lots of fun in every episode. The quality of the players was evident throughout the entire season, so it was impossible not to be impressed. Unlike other period dramas, it didn't have any boring features, on the contrary, it had a lot of fun and events. The prince, on the other hand, was an excellent character, what was discussed in the palace and family relations were handled very well. I'm very curious to see how the second season will be released as soon as possible and how it will go, thank you very much to the whole team for this series.

I don't know if it was ever an inspiration, but this series reminds me the first season of Black Adder by Sir Rowan Atkinson.
Main character is a non-binary quirky Prince, with a touch of stereotypical Turkish gay man attitude, sometimes to the point of exaggeration. Prince is not the typical "good" person, but a very self-centered and ignorant just like S1 Black Adder.
Plot is not very original or unexpected, yet focusing on character development and fun aspect shines the series to magnificent success.
Originality comes from that attitude of Prince and story is just a background around him.
There are times that scenes getting a bit boring and stretching the gimmick way too much, but it still can be considered a fast-paced series comparing to overall Turkish series we have.
Definitely a fresh breath of air, not focusing on vulgar language to make it seem fun like many others and thankfully something that is not focusing on Turkey or Turkish people related theme, but definitely made for Turkish-speaking people to enjoy with relative material.
Absolutely recommend and hoping to see more of it.

The absurd adventures of a nameless prince unfold in an imaginary country, capturing the audience's imagination with its unique charm 😄 The script is excellent, skillfully blending humor and drama to create a captivating narrative. As the seasons progress, the cast expands, introducing a diverse array of characters that add depth and complexity to the story. By the third season, the stakes are higher than ever, as it appears that the prince will go to war with larger, more powerful countries. This development promises to bring intense and thrilling plot twists, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. 😎

The players are so identified with the characters they play that it is definitely what makes this series so good. It's a great detail for the prince not to have a name. Thank you to the people on the whole team who worked in this series. I am looking forward to the third season. I'm sure there will be more flashbacks. By the way, I loved that the characters in the series were chosen from the teams in the match coupons. Really very creative. I don't know how many seasons it will be, but it wouldn't be bad if there were at least five seasons. Because I have no doubt that a series with such a sense of humor will be watched again and again after it is over, I am sure.
The show was amazing in its first season, but it's really gone downhill in the second season. The jokes are way less funny, and the whole thing just feels kind of forced now. And then there was that ridiculous beheading scene in the fifth episode of season two - that was just totally out of place and made the whole show feel like a cheap knockoff of Game of Thrones. It's like the writers just gave up on even trying to be funny anymore. I've heard from other people who watch the show that they were just as bothered by that scene as I was. It's really a shame, because I used to love this show. But now, I can't even recommend it to my friends anymore. If they're going to keep this up, the third season is going to be a disaster. I'm changing my score from a 9 to a 5.

Titles says it all. What is all this hype about? A gay-like prince, making same jokes over and over again. "Gonna get my brain crazy" a.k.a "aklimi deliricem". This is all you remember from this show. Cannot believe people are praising this production over and over. There is nothing, literally nothing at all. Scripts are not funny, jokes are not funny, ambience is not funny, role plays are not funny. Main character is not funny. So, what is funny about this production? I cannot believe how people are exaggerating this show. Some people are pretending to die by laughing. Can somebody explain, how did you find something die bu laughing? Names are taken from a betting website. Is this really funny? They are taken from team names, directly.
This show is compared to "Gibi", which is considered to be the best show of all times. Gibi is from another dimension, sorry. Every single detail is carefully scripted and amazingly well played by ultra-talented Feyyaz Yigit. You remember at least a few quotes from each episode of Gibi. All you remember in Prens is "aklimi deliricem". That's it. If you read carefully; everyone says it's extremely funny but no detail at all. A complete disappointment.

After watching the first episode on YouTube, I wanted to watch the second episode as well. The result was really disappointing. What's more, I paid for this!
The production, costumes, and story are all quite good. However, I don't think it's original contrary to the general opinion. It's clear that the series titled "Gibi(As If)" is inspired by its historical-themed episodes. I also couldn't see the feminine traits of the lead role as fitting for the character.
I must confess that I haven't watched the second season. Despite all the embellishments, I could only endure 5 episodes. I'm sorry wild butterfly lovers.

If you graduated from a Turkish Acting School, you most probably have learned about existential theatre. There's no way in hell, you don't know about Karl Georg Büchner. Rather than creeping around wishing nobody should ever find out where your content comes from, you could've introduced the people of Turkey to existential art forms. The baldy is extremely sneaky, and getting praised as original by the losers. The TV series has 20 reviews of total, all of whom are their friends. Original my asscheeks, people have flushed the toilet and into the youtube you went. Watch for 5 episodes then 3 more episodes you wonder where the comedy actually is. The way that they speak about creating the characters in the interviews, makes me wanna puke in my mouth a lil bit...

Wannabe Dictator (2012)'.
In Turkiye, people are very stranger to western comedy.
If you watched 'Dictator', you can clearly understand that its like a Turkish version of it. Acting, impressions, even mimics are same.
I laughed a few times, mostly cringe.
But at least, production and casting is great. No one did something like this in Turkish series comedy except Cem Yilmaz; Ersan Kuneri. Thats the only good thing about this series. But it cant compete with Ersan Kuneri or Gibi. That series were original and unique.
Im afraid to say but all i can say about Prens is Bon pour l'Orient. "Dogu icin iyi." Believe me, Turkish comedy is better than this. You can check my lists.
