There's only one clear line of dialogue spoken throughout the movie.
There were likely artistic reasons for this, but narratively, it's mainly Brynn by herself for the majority of the film. Any time she goes to interact with other people, they ignore her or shun her. So nobody bothers speaking to her and she doesn't bother speaking to them.
