This film references "Eye on Scotland" an M&B Arts Productions that was released 9 years prior, David McDonald was a former reporter for the fictional news team and references characters Ted Taggart and Gregory Goddard. Andrew Martin also plays Ted Taggart in "Eye on Scotland"
The idea of this film came from the UK's governments handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic, through questionable decisions and never-ending restrictions, Andrew wanted to create a film that would make folk laugh during these dark depressing times.
Megan Smith returns for this film as Lisa, a "pissed off" student who calls David out for his actions, this marks Megan's second Martin Films Production character.
Due to COVID regulations, all of the other actors only appear through Zoom.
