I usually like all of Bruce Willis movies but this one sucks. The fighting scenes was so staged and the actors didn't seem to know what they were doing. This seems to be one of those low budget movies just thrown together. Please don't waste your time watching this!!!
This is not really a review of the movie.
Let's be clear it's not very good but it's the amount of reviews saying how bad bruce Willis is in this some reviews after he announced he was ill!
Have you no heart or did you not read about it?
He made these movies as best as he could to get a bit of extra money before calling it a day.
Please think about what you write in the future or do some research first before stating one of the best action stars ever to come out of Hollywood!!
Happy retirement bruce thanks for everything I for one am a true fan and we raise a glass to you nest time I watch die hard..

If you thought the first one was bad, that one is Oscar worthy compared to this mess. This is the worst directing I have ever seen. Josh Sternfeld just kept filming ridiculous long dragged out and unnecessary scenes, of which at least half the length of the entire film needed to be cut out. His filming of the action scenes was so bad, when all you saw was two pairs of legs tripping over each other or a bunch of hands flailing around. Was this even edited, or the entire filmed scenes all pieced together uncut?
But even worse, was the most ridiculous screenplay I have ever seen. Alan Horsnail wrote in the laziest and cheesiest dialogue I have ever heard. The story was such utter nonsense, cliched and boring. It was riddled with plot and technical issues. Ninety percent of the entire 97 min runtime was all useless filler and irrelevant dialogue and scenes.
The pacing was so bad, the film felt like it was more than three hours long, and you'll end up begging for the ending credits. Who even funds and approves this nonsense? Even Kelly Greyson's Daisy Duke outfit was so cheese and out of place, we couldn't stop laughing. If it was meant to be a pleasant eye-candy distraction from how horrible this film was, it didn't work, it just added more cringe to the mess.
Casting and performances were adequate by most - including Bruce who was on par with the rest, except for Chad Michael Murray's annoying character, that made me want to fast-forward all his scenes. But I'm sure at least half the blame goes to Sternfeld, who clearly failed in directing his cast. The only redeeming quality of this film was the bearable score - which usually is annoyingly overbearing, constant, and unfitting. It's a very generous 2/10 from me, and I do mean generous.

I don't understand why half of the movie they show scenes from the first movie and talk about what happened in the first movie, As if whoever sees the sequel didn't watch the first movie. It's simply unnecessary.
Any Bruce Willis movie from around 2019 on is crap. I think he basically retired but does these low budget movies that require him to be on set for 10 minutes just for extra cash.
You can't trust his name in movies anymore. In fact, I avoid anything with his name on it since 2019 or so.
I find it sad that an A-list actor is willing to destroy his image and legacy for a few extra bucks. I'm not an actor or rich but I would never do this.

Well, the 2021 movie "Fortress" wasn't particularly impressive, so it was with some hesitation that I sat down to watch the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye". And truth be told, I wasn't harboring much of any expectations to the movie from writers Randall Emmett, Emile Hirsch and Alan Horsnail, since a lot, and I do mean a lot, of the recent Bruce Willis movies have been dubious at best.
Yet, I opted to give director Josh Sternfeld's 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" a chance, as I do believe all movies need a fair chance. But the movie was actually as I had anticipated, nay, it was actually worse than anticipated. While the 2021 movie "Fortress" was pretty bad, then the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" was even worse.
Talk about a swing and a miss of a storyline from writers Randall Emmett, Emile Hirsch and Alan Horsnail. Not only does the mundane and boring characters from the 2021 movie carry on in the 2022 movie, but without any improvement. The character gallery in "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" is insanely boring and mundane, and I just simply didn't care one ounce about these mundane and pointless characters that milled about on the screen.
And that made the laughably bad storyline even more difficult to get into. Not only was the storyline here in "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" rubbish, but the lack of interesting characters or dialogue just simply made it nearly unbearable to watch.
Even with the likes of Bruce Willis, Chad Michael Murray and Jesse Metcalfe on the cast list, "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" just simply stood a snowball's chance in hell of being an entertaining movie.
Sure, if you enjoyed the 2021 movie "Fortress", then you might find something entertaining in the 2022 movie "Fortress: Sniper's Eye". But I wouldn't go betting on it. "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" is not a movie that I would recommend you waste your time, money or effort on.
My rating of "Fortress: Sniper's Eye" lands on a two out of ten stars. It just simply was rubbish.

Poor dialogue & acting. Nothing more than another cheap low quality independent film featuring Bruce Willis. Why make a sequel to this Fortress garbage.
Chad Michael Murray please retire.
There are ameoba on Saturn that have more screen chemistry than you.
Another terrible performance in another crap film.

No pun intended - and not just meant for the characters that made it over from the first film. Safe to say you can see that Bruce Willis is one of them ... though way less active in this one that he was in the one before (was this shot after it was revealed he was sick/had the illness)? I do not know - does it matter though? I highly doubt it.
So while he is not phoning it in, he lays it all out ... ok this pun was more than intended. He is not alone though and the overacting comes from others too. They all need money and a job I reckon ... and we need a movie I assume? I wouldn't have minded if it were a better one ... anyway, the action is ok I guess, but other than that .. I think it is better to stay away from this, if you aren't a fan of anyone involved ... and even then ...

Absolutely the first part was better and we didn't see the overcome of technology on that,.. in this film I see the naturalist sense that have been cinematic too.... The story has bugs like most of the similar movies in tow decades ... Not bad at All.
Undoubtedly, if you saw the first Fortress film with Bruce Willis, you'll probably be inclined to see this one as well. The story, I'm sorry to report, is weaker this time around. It's barely anything new, and honestly the first film would have been a great standalone piece itself, but the sequel here makes them both suffer. The script might as well have been what was cut from the first film for time. Just to be frank, the story is pretty bored. You'd probably have a better time banging your head on a brick wall for 97 minutes.
The actors do their best with what they have. The new characters are unnecessary and entirely unwarranted, only making sense to make a new plot device and that's just lazy. Chad Michael Murray, in my opinion, played the villain very well again. He has a bright future in these sort of roles of that's what his heart desires. Sadly, this is one of Bruce Willis' final films before his untimely retirement, and he'll surely and sorely be missed.

Terrible. Worse than the original. Boring and uninspiring at all levels - storyline, action, dialogue and acting.
Kelly Greyson looks fine and was the only thing that held my interest. The rest of the cast should either retire or quit or take up another hobby.
The Fortress itself was the only thing interesting in this movie concept, and it was all explained in the original.
The rest of the movie should quickly be placed into environmentally-friendly toxic waste removal.

The first movie was terrible, when they announced they wanted to make a trilogy I laughed and assumed they had no chance especially with Bruce Willis announcing his retirement. Yet somehow here we are, a movie released a month or two after Willis retired. Same low budget, fishy acting, embarrassing script and woeful plot. I had to really motivate myself to see Willis penultimate movie because he was always one of my favourite actors but god this was a struggle to get through. Suggest you don't waste your time because it's so bad it's not even funny.

After watching the first one and thinking it couldn't get much worse my husband and I laughed and said what do we have to lose, lets watch the next one!? Well its worse than the first...atrocious acting, terrible plot lines and the most ridiculous movie making ever. And what the heck with the female leads clothing? Did the wardrobe budget fall short and thus her tops got tighter and shorter and her shorts shorter? The set is the same, some abandoned run down summer camp. And Bruce, so sorry they made you partake in another atrocity after an amazing career. Its obvious he could not say all his lines and there is some really bad dubbing. Horrible.
Watching the first one was an absolute struggle. Had to shut this one off. Bruce Willis is becoming the new Nicholas cage. Accepting any role in any movie, no matter how terrible it is.
There wasn't one sniper in the movie.
Plus, it was terrible. Seen Sharknado 6, it was better than this movie.
It terrible that Bruce Willis is affected by aphasia and I wish he wasn't part of this stinking pile of liquid garbage I just poured on my eyes.
If you want a good movie. Pretty much everything else is a good movie compared to this, go watch something else.

This is probably the worst Bruce Willis movie ever. The story line is improbable. The acting staged terrible. The fight scenes worse than a B-porn movie bedroom scenes. Not even the highly unlikely clothes for a bunker that. Kelly Grayson wore, can make up for this trash. If you consider watching this, consider drinking a lot of alcohol to numb you from gnawing through your wrist. And Bruce just plod along with unemotional scene language that borders on the sewerage farm of Hollywood production. No - this is a big disappointment and probably done to pay the "actors" and the movie producers money in some tax scheme because throwing up at the end when the wife of the villain walks weirdly out of the Fortress to the arriving police - by the way - this place is so of the grid - how did she contact them? Is there a Native American village nearby with smoke signaling capacity?
SKIP.
SKIP.

Seems Bruce Willis just went on a rampage of crappy films before he retired. Seems like he knew he'd be quitting films so he just made a bunch. 8 in 2021 and 10 films in 2022. That's got to be some kind of record.
Thanks for the other films Bruce, too bad you decided to end your legacy this way.

Bruce Willis is doing the best he can now that he is sick, I applaud his strength. I know that this movie is missing a lot but I know Bruce can do it better.

Bruce Willis made one excellent movie in 1988 and another one in 1999. The rest is absolute and utter junk. The dude's a joke! Only utterly stupid hollywood minds can keep shelling out $1M per "movie" just to put his sorry face on the cover.
