A stunning woman, Candy (THE Candy) is walking home in what seems to be a glossy Paris. Her eyes lock with those of an unsuspecting man in the street (Étienne), she offers him a drink and it isn't before long that things start going in a strange direction.
Bienvenue chez Candy explores how far we can go to be desired, how the concept of loved can be so mixed in with that and how insatiable this quest can be. Beautifully shot and very well acted and written - the rhythm of what ensues after Étienne's triggering comment keeps the audience on the edge until the very end. A great commentary about influencer - audience relationship that turns the table on the audience that needs to take the responsibility for the fantasies they want to be fed.
