Koharu is at home contemplating assembling the model toy she has purchased when she is confronted by a girl in blue. She is then transported to her school where her school-mates are both friends and foes in a battle she wants no part of. The consequences are serious, however, and she is part of the squad whether she likes it or not.

Teams Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta draw their guns and are on the attack. The girls are playing for keeps as at least one girl is on her last life. Tachibana is asking questions and finding out more, but she is being lied to. Her team-mates have praise for her however. two girls visit the house of class-mate Mizuno.

There is a blast gun up for grabs. It offers more power and range and every team wants it. Unorthodox plans are put into place in order to own the coveted weapon at the expense of bases, points and even the chain of command. Speaking of which, the power struggle is being challenged on the Bravo team.

Tachibana and her team have a proposal and a plan for the rest of the squads. They meet at school in a classroom, but Charlie and Delta teams are missing and not there to agree or disagree. The six girls have the discussion first then. The proposal is cleaver and beneficial to all, but it needs unanimous consent or it won't work.

In the aftermath of the failed scheme, distrust is on the rise and things are not better when a friend warns Tachibana to not believe the commanders' sympathy. A rival approaches her and simply wants to speak, but Tachibana cannot trust her any longer. Alice keeps her team waiting.

There is a mystery outside the world of battles and four squads. The shop that sells the models has a back door and a 'no admittance' sign. Even the school's nurse comments on it. Two out of three of the Alpha team decide to investigate at night when no one is around. Luckily, one of them has the tools needed to break into the shop.

The hunt and the contest continues outside the school premises, but that is not the only odd occurrence. A corpse disappears, a blank banner is found and a museum of dead characters leads to a promise of revenge. Alice, the commander, recalls something she was told in passing that means more now.

Tachibana is more resolved than ever and showing her new side. The battle lasts sixty minutes and is to the death this time. Alpha is moving up, but the school proctor is merciless and ruthless and does not want to lose and die under any circumstance. This means she will not let her own team-mates get in her way.

The final contest is done and Tachibana and her team are the surprise winners. Alice may become human. The announcer indicates a ceremony will take place in which the winner will be crowned. However, Matsuko has a surprise revelation for her friend and rivals. Things are not as they seem.

The ceremony that was supposed to be a victory celebration has instead turned out to be something sinister. The puppet master who controlled the game and its apparatus is at hand and revealed. Alice's long-awaited moment turns out to be a nightmare. in the meantime, all the girls at school have disappeared.
