This kid is wild. He sees dinosaurs and does experiments with them and teaches us the scientific method... but this is just the red hearing. While it appears no one else sees them,
A) no one questions that he can see them
B) other things interact with the dinosaurs, I.g. A speedometer, his own dog etc...
I think his ability's are really an uncontrollable mutant power that is actually bringing dinosaurs from the past to the future. They are slowly becoming more tangible and eventually plan to come in full swing on a mass surprise attack to take revenge on us for using there bones for fuel.
Side note, his older brothers name is also Dan... "Here are my two sons, dan and dan".

I guess this is an OK show, it's pretty good, and takes place in Canada, that's always cool to see a different setting. Its about this kid, Dan, who can see the dinosaurs no one else can. He experiments with them, teaches the kids about them, and talks and plays with them. Its quite interesting really, and in a lot of the episodes what he does with the dinosaurs has to do with what Dan learned in school that day. I keep asking my little brother "How come the dinosaurs don't eat him?" no answer. He LOVES it though, and my other little brother likes it too, aged 5 and 8 respectively. I even learned some stuff I didn't know about dinosaurs, like this Dinocalled the "Dromnyasaurus" (sp?). Its Dan's favorite dinosaur, and its really cool its bright purple. So they do educate them about dinosaurs, and the show is really light-hearted and cute. So I'd say if you're under 7 or around that age, and you're a guy, mostly guys like this stuff, but I'm a girl i like it too, then you'll enjoy it. Better than it looks.

This show may appear to be a children's TV show, but upon further analysis it has much deeper subtext and meaning. It's a show that makes Alfred Hitchcock look like Michael Bay and Kubrick wishing he pursued a different career.
This features themes of isolation, sexual tension, bullying and being an outcast, as well as psychological breakdowns/trauma. It's a show that will resonate with you forever and empower you for days. The CGI will absolutely astound you.
For the love of god, go see this show immediately. It changed my life indefinitely.
