This movie pokes fun at so much that is wrong with the world, but from a very different viewpoint. I loved it!

I must admit to partial bias, as I subbed in for someone on the last day of filming to hold a boom mic. Still, I speak as honestly as possible when I say that this film has a talented crew, and a story that is absolutely fun to experience! The Bodega has a sense of humor, and it knows it, from it's witty dialogue to it's action, brought together with some great shots. I recommend giving it a watch once it's publicly available!

I had a chance to judge this movie at a film festival. This gave me some heavy clerks vibes with its weird off brand humor. The actors played the lines perfectly and their facial reactions to the situation(s) sold the scene(s) perfectly. Kudos to the director for choosing to focus more on profile instead of the traditional style of shooting a movie. For a comedy it works well and I hope this crew makes more movies. They've got something special going on.
