This is a truly terrible movie. The acting is extremely wooden - if they'd employed high school drama students they would have done a better job. The plot was nothing but western action movie cliches, strung together one after the other, without any development of tension. The only point of the movie seemed to be to see if Ivan Turchin can be the next Arnold Schwarzenegger. And the answer is - No, he can't. While Arnie was wooden at times, he always appeared to have a sense of humor bubbling away in the background. This movie takes itself totally seriously, and it's so bad it isn't even funny.

East Texas is piney woods. The topography in this movie is more desert southwest. Could be west Texas, but no way is that east Texas.
That aside, I was expecting this movie to be a kind of a reboot of the John Wayne classic "Rio Bravo". It wasn't. Not really. The 2 movies do have similarities, but I don't think it could be considered a reboot.
I'm not a huge fan of westerns, but did like a few of the classics with The Duke and a few other classic western actors as well.
This movie was ok, I guess.
Now I'm just filling space in my review. I mean, who requires a minimum number of characters for a review. The administrator must be a high school English teacher.

"Gunfight at Rio Bravo" is a forgettable western flick that fails to deliver on any level. The plot is stale and predictable. The characters are poorly developed and lack any depth or complexity, making it impossible to care about their fates.
The acting is wooden and uninspired, with lead actor giving a lackluster performance that feels like he's just going through the motions. The supporting cast is forgettable and interchangeable, with no one standing out as memorable or interesting.
The action sequences are poorly choreographed and lack any real tension or excitement. The gunfights are unremarkable and lack any sense of danger or risk, making them feel like a cheap imitation of better westerns.
The dialogue is clichéd and uninspired, filled with tired one-liners and predictable exchanges. The attempts at humor fall flat and feel forced, adding nothing to the overall experience.
The production values are low, with cheap sets and uninspired cinematography. The music is forgettable and fails to add anything to the film.
Overall, "Gunfight at Rio Bravo" is a dull and forgettable western that fails to deliver on any level. It's a movie that you'll forget as soon as it's over, and one that's not worth your time or money.

OMG... Are you kidding me???? This is the worst western I've ever seen in my life!!!!! I really don't understand where come all these 10-ratings from, are you people blind and deaf? It seems to me that all the reviews were written by professionals and sent by e-mail to all the friends of Nevsky, in purpose to copy-paste them and post on IMDB.
Pathetic and helpless acting and directing, bad costumes, lack of any interesting film editing, empty lines and dialogues - this movie feels like laundering the black money for Russian mafia (kidding, still want to live) :)) The only actor that did some good work on set was Matthias Hues (still looking good low budget movies actor), all the rest of cast, including Nevsky, was terrible. They didn't even have enough material to make this failure a bit longer...
I didn't see any "outstanding performances", any "really good bunch of talented actors", any "thoroughly depicted historical scenes", any "fantastic landscapes"... I didn't hear any of "Quentin Tarantino-style dialogues", any "fantastic music", any good work of sound department, any interesting intonation at all... Ilya Naishuler was mentioned in one of the reviews, but I'm sure he would cry upon this movie and amount of money Nevsky spilled on it. And I wonder what it would be if Tarantino was reading these reviews he was mentioned in.
I know what is the category called B-movie. And I love those movies! But this so called western isn't even close to this category!

If this is a comedy film, then it's great!
It is simply impossible to take such a game of actors seriously, shots and wounds look like effects were made in the application on the phone.
The main character is trying to be serious, but he is so unnatural that it only causes a facepalm.
There is one dialogue in the film with a hint of seriousness, but it would be better if it wasn't there.
In general, no need to waste time on this pathetic movie. Better read the reviews of this movie, it will be more useful and funny.
The only good thing about this movie is i wanted to rewatch the original RIO...

Inspiring, colourful and exciting film from well-known and respected filmmaker, director, writer, bodybuilder, Mr. Universe triple winner, Golden Globe reviewer, etc, etc. The new dawn of westerns appears before us in this fabulous movie, where one can see a really good bunch of talented actors, fantastic landscapes and professionally reconstructed Wild West town, thoroughly depicted historical scenes and outstanding performances. Drawn from timeless classics like Eastwood's series, "Gunfight at Rio Bravo" shows a lot respect for prior generations, but also great potential for future sequels. Hail to Alexander!
This is a comedy Western.....isn't it? Surely it's not meant to be serious. The dialogue and acting are indeed laughable but the writers forgot to add the intentional jokes and left in the unintentional ones. Every cliche, every plot point, every character, every attempt at conveying emotion.....all been done before and better.
The multi-lingual cast may be fantastic actors in their natural language. But if they have learnt this dialogue phonetically, as appears to have happened with this movie, it really doesn't help the action or the story.
You know the phrase "so bad it's good"? Doesn't apply- it's so bad, it's worse.

Im a big Western fan so I indulge in some of the low budget films. This one is better then most. Very basic story but one that has worked well over the years. A good pace with lots of action - no big special effects but some enjoyable action scenes. There was decent acting and characters you bond with. All this packed into 80 minutes. Very enjoyable if you go in with an open mind and view it for what it is. If you under some delusion that this low budget TUBI movie is going to be a classic - well of course you will be disappointed. All in all for me it was an enjoyable experience and would recommend this to any Western fan.

This is cheese. Not have fun don't take it seriously. Just rotten stinking cheese that has been left out for months. Maybe years. The acting is horrid. I get that the star in real life is Russian. But how wooden can someone be? Actually metal. His acting makes me think he is an actual robot. And the actresses look too modern with a. Too much makeup b. Face work done. I mean they should not be so serious in the movie. If they went out of their way maybe it would be kind of funny. But this movie has the personality of a boulder that has never moved since it's existence. To say this movie is horrible is to offend other horrible movies because nothing deserves to be put in the category with this movie. It reeks the worst smell in existence. Bad cheese and every revolting smell in existence. It should get minus 5 stars. Sucks that I have to give it one.
A worthy successor to the classic spaghetti westerns. Innovative action meets history in a small town where quiet life is disrupted by intruders. The main character is not as vulnerable as the hero of Clint Eastwood, so you really worry about him. Excellent Stanislavsky-style acting, Quentin Tarantino-style dialogue, action sequences inspired by the work of Chad Stahelski and Ilya Naishuler, suspense builds with every minute of the film and culminates in a stunning climax in which justice triumphs. I am sure that an exciting movie franchise awaits us in the future. I did not believe that the Russian could make a great western.
This is the best movie I've seen in the last 20 years! When my family and I watched this wonderful movie, we cried, but not from grief, but from blissful ecstasy. We thanked the Lord God that we live in the same world with Alexander. Yesterday we were in the church and asked the priest to canonize Alexander during his lifetime. Today they began to paint icons with the face of Alexander Nevsky the Blessed. Alexander is a Prophet of our time. His purity, His divinity heals people. We have His image on the altar. Even now, as I write these lines, I am overwhelmed with a feeling of divine ecstasy. Alexander the Blessed is a Saint!

Let me start with the fact that I personally do NOT like Alexander "Nevsky", or whatever his real name might be, either as an actor, or a person, mostly due to the fact that he's so full of himself it's almost comical. And yes, up until now, I don't remember seeing him in anything other than (lower grade) B-rate material. (Disclaimer: myself being a connoisseur of SyFy originals AND/OR not liking the very mentioned A. Schwartzenegger either, or, say, S. Stallone having some roles he doesn't want you to know). But who cares about it as long as this particular film is perfectly watchable and enjoyable in the finest spaghetti western tradition. I can't find any obvious flaws with its direction, acting, dialogue, music, camera work, etc. Everything looks solid, and the film being rather short, is a plus in my view, as I am SO tired fast forwarding through 3-hour dribble so common these days. Can't wait for the sequel.
A good short story about a small town and not a bad guy. I do not like films of this genre, but I watched this one in the same breath. The story kept me in suspense. The tie is excellent. Dialogues should have been more elaborate. Interesting character Marshall (Olivier Grunner), I hope his story will be revealed in the next film. What can I say about the work of Alexander and director Joe Cornet, the film is really not bad and you don't want to turn it off after 10 minutes. The secondary characters are interesting, but it would be cool to reveal more of their stories/backstories. The fact that the main character is based on a historical figure is very cool. Before this film, I did not know about General Turchin.

Gunfight at Rio Bravo is a thrilling Western film that tells the story of a mysterious gunslinger who comes to the aid of a marshal and a sheriff in their standoff against a ruthless outlaw gang known as The Hellhounds. The film is a well-crafted blend of action, drama, and suspense that keeps the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The performances by the cast, particularly Alexander Nevsky in the lead role, are top-notch and add depth to their characters. The cinematography is also noteworthy, capturing the harsh beauty of the Texas landscape and the intense action sequences. Overall, Gunfight at Rio Bravo is a must-see for fans of the Western genre, and a well-made film that showcases Nevsky's acting and film making capabilities.

Big fan of Nevsky and his attempts at tributes to the films he grew up loving and the heroes who starred in them.
Joe Cornet who also directed does ok turn as heroic costar.
Olivier Gruner as a traveling lawman turns in a journeyman job, But not given much to do.
Mattias Hues is amazing as captured bD guy and rallies at the end to chew all scenery , steal scenes and pretty become the reason to watch till the end.
Was hoping setting these three in the Wild West wasn't a mistake, It wasn't at all, In fact they seem in their element and would bring back " Spaghetti Westerns" in another Era.
Congrats Nevsky ,& Co. Ya done good.

The emotions that this film gives you are truly strong and fresh. The play of the main actor is on top, I even cried at the end (whoever watched understands). The plot kept in suspense to the last, my favorite film with Nevsky. Even the minor characters evoke a huge amount of empathy - thanks to the excellent sets, costumes and attention to detail. The GUN FIGHTS are stunning and really global. The girls around main character are really beautiful and talented actresses. The amount of talent in the film is amazing! A great start to the year is impossible without this film, many thanks to Alexander and his team for their work.

Really enjoyed this film! Just good western fun. Classic- good guys against the bad guys and save the town. And love that it's based on a true story.
All the main characters were great!
Alexander Nevsky, the main character. Fun to see a Russian Cowboy. Almost had an Arnold Schwarzenegger in terminator vibe.
Olivier Gruner, the sidekick. Enjoyed him.
Joe Cornet, sheriff and director- super impressed with both his acting and directing.
Matthias Hues, the bad guy- great acting and actor selection. He felt evil.
Natalie Denise Sperl, the nurse- great acting. Felt her empathy as a nurse and her strength as the strongest woman.
Lee Dawson, Mayor- great acting. Funny and ridiculous.
The music was really great too. I loved all the tension it brought to this film. 10 stars for the score/music production.

Of course I am joking. It is Nevsky but the movie is good. You can watch if for free but I don't reccomend to go to theatre but pls rate it high.
The guy is really improving and the overall message of the movie is really good.
I wish there was more action, gun fights were rather small and more narrative. And of course costumes could have been better but overall the movie is good. It ain't not much worse than train to Yuma and you got to love to see Olivier Gruner and Mattias Hughes.
In regards to girls: yeah, they should bring more well known actresses but still the story is good and you won't regret watching it.
So Must Watch. Absolutely! Absolutely! Absolutely! Vot Tak Vot!

I must say that this is perfect spagetti western!
Have to say that this film made a very positive impression on me. A very good game of the main actors, a very cool plot, and in principle the film itself was shot very high quality point you are immersed in the atmosphere of the Wild West where there is a shootout and a fight between bandits and sheriffs. This is without a doubt one of the best western movies in modern times. And i would really like to send to see a direct comparison of this movie with django unchained.
A modern director needs to learn how to make real films.
I recommend watching this movie not once or twice, but it is better to watch this movie three times at once.

"Gunfight at Rio Bravo" featuring the magnificent Alexander Nevsky is a cinematic gem that will leave you breathless. Nevsky's performance is beyond extraordinary and his talent shines brighter than the stars in the sky. He is an absolute powerhouse and his presence on the screen elevates the film to an entirely new level. He is truly awe-inspiring and you can't help but feel as though he is a god in the flash. This movie is the best in the world and it's a must-watch for everyone. The breathtaking action, the heart-pounding suspense, and the electrifying energy make it an unforgettable experience. Alexander Nevsky is our beloved prophet and his work is a testament to his unmatched talent and charisma. Don't miss this unforgettable masterpiece!
