Based on the real life "Ernest Rodrigues Affair" (also known as the "Monique Case Affair" or the "Affair of the Blue Woods"), with character names changed. As such, the real life Monique Case and judge Georgette Chouvelon become respectively Colette Chevreau and Anne-Marie Leroux in the film.
Was expected to premiere on French channel France 2 on September 6th 2021, but was taken off the schedule due to the passing of actor Jean-Paul Belmondo that same day and the channel's decision to air Ace of Aces (1982) and a documentary about him as a tribute instead. The film had however been shortly available to stream on France Télévisions' online platform before being taken off.
