Who do you see in the plot?

A thought-provoking film, particularly when partnered with the available study. Unlike anything else I've seen in this genre. Well-conceived. The message is obvious once you get it, but well concealed in the plot and accurately delivered by the cast. Who do you see/identify with in the plot?
