This is a lovely and sublime short film that makes viewers love, care and relate with the main couple, two senior gentlemen (singer Ney Matogrosso and veteran actor Nildo Parente) as a lovely and affectionate gay couple.
It's simplicity in showing a common day and a common routine is beyond anything I've ever seen, and in the end that simple day wasn't just simple, it was a perfect day that the characters wouldn't wish to end.
When most films tend to appeal to more sensual and sexy scenes in order to display some acts of love this goes a lot further by showing little acts that make a whole difference in a relationship. Here, one prepares the dinner while the other is out; and when the other returns he kisses his partner and says he brought a movie so they can watch later on, and next thing you know they're all peaceful enjoying the movie even though they have seen it several times. The pleasure is fulfilled when they are in each other's company with gentle touches, some care, not much talking, just enjoying the moment.
I was amazed in seeing such a romantic couple and couldn't stop day-dreaming with this scenario, not just with myself but also thinking about those characters, imagining their daily lives outside of what's presented in the movie - but there's a sad revelation towards the conclusion that makes it all bittersweet. Still a highly enjoyable movie that I'd wish could become a feature film. It's that good! 10/10.
