Salad Days was dedicated to two influential Arkansas natives, Brent Renaud and Judy Tenenbaum.

Brent was the most rewarded and acclaimed journalist from Arkansas; he was shot and killed by Russian forces outside of the capital in Kyiv when a checkpoint search when awry.

Judy Tenenbaum was one of the co-founders of Argenta Community Theater which paved the way for what people know as the Argenta Arts District, she passed suddenly last year.
