During the premiere of the film, the audience gave an audible chuckle upon seeing the character "The Suit" for the first time. It wasn't until the filmmakers (Joel Cranson and Webb Pickersgill) saw "Watchmen" in theaters weeks later and were introduced to the character "Rorschach", that they understood that the chuckle was in the obvious similarities of the two characters.
The film was produced for the IFP/Phx Beat the Clock challenge. The challenge was to write/shoot/edit a film in 24-hours with the prop of "Arizona Republic Newspaper", the line of dialog "Who is that guy", in the genre of "Slapstick Comedy".
The film was produced with a very small cast and crew of only 8 people, many of which doubled up on tasks both in front of the camera and behind it. The character "The Suit" was played by the director, Joel Cranson, who also played the news reporter. However, the voice of "The Suit" was played by the Gaffer, Daniel Taucher, so that the voice would be different.
