Arya and Shruti debate the status of their marriage. Later, Arya's argumentative impulses landed him in trouble at the airport and at the restaurant.

Rohini is baffled how Shruti always knows what she has been doing on the internet and Arya shows her how to delete browsing history. Rohini teaches all her friends about it. Arya and Shruti go for gym and a young female fan approaches Arya for a selfie. She is totally coming onto him. Arya approaches Shruti to set dating rules.

Shruti's phone is acting up and won't disconnect till the other side hangs up the call. Mayank (Aseem Hattangadi) is Arya's friend who sets up a meeting with Netflix rep Reema (Dilnaz Irani) who has traveled from Mumbai for the meeting. The meeting is at a golf course and Reema wants to use the toilet and Arya insists that Reema order before she goes to the toilet. He theorizes that Reema hasn't used the toilet at Mumbai or Delhi Airport and seeing the lush green course, her instincts have kicked in. So, she will take her time in there and hence should order the food so, the food is prepared by the time she is "done"

Arya then yells at a person for scratching his butt in public but turns out the guy is a colon cancer survivor. Shruti meets her counselor, who advises her to get a divorce and have sex. Shruti wants a proper divorce from Arya and declares that she will announce it to Rohini that evening.

Shruti meets a potential investor Jean Lee (Darren E. Scott), who has traveled from Korea to meet her. Lee complains about the odor in the car. Arya eavesdrops on her entire conversation since he didn't hang up her call. Reema says that she is not here to buy Arya's book rights. She wants a pitch from Arya and Mayank on the potential possibilities. Mayank talks about Arya and Guru Agni (Atul Kumar) doing a talk show about marriage, women, and love. Reema is intrigued as Agni is a big name in India. He is a celebrity yoga teacher

Agni used to the CEO of a grocery start-up. Agni questions Arya about whether Shruti is dumping him, or whether he is dumping her. Arya admits he is being dumped. Agni hears the idea of the talk show on Netflix. Shruti grapples with telling Rohini about her and Arya. She speaks to Rohini when she comes from school. Rohini is already suspecting bad news. Shruti learns that Rohini's friend's parents are getting divorced, and the friend is totally stressed about it. The friends hate her mom and blames her for the divorce. Shruti learns that Rohini watched the movie "Mean Girl" with her friend Samya. Shruti confronts Samya's mother Bhumika (Nazneen Madan). That's when Bhumika receives angry texts from other parents about how Rohini taught their kids how to delete browser history and Shruti is forced to retreat.

Agni reveals that women being on top increases their chances of orgasms by 41%. Arya and Mayank think they have a show. Shruti calls Arya angrily. When she keeps the phone, she knows Arya is still listening and decides to fake an orgasm shouting Lee's name. But that's when Mr Lee comes into her office for his actual meeting with her. Shruti is embarrassed.

Shruti is interviewing a maid. She is wearing a bra and no panties. The maid Lakshmi arrives, and Arya is super interested in her. She wants 4 holidays in a month, instead of the regulation 2, and when Shruti objects Lakshmi wants her to check with Arya. Shruti sends the maid away and Arya says she didn't hire her as she was good looking. To prove his point Arya steps out on the street and sees all the maids in Gurgaon are butt ugly as pretty ones don't get hired by the wives.

Dr Basu's maid quits as his mother objects to her using the living room bathroom instead of the one on the roof. While going she retorts that she has a farmland and NEGRA and DBT benefits. Dr Basu laments that he was the one who designed all these schemes. Rohini was learning piano at their home at that time and makes a video of the same. Arya is off the no-fly list. They are travelling to Mumbai for her parents' marriage anniversary and Arya tells her not to bring the topic of divorce just yet. Shruti refuses to change her mind.

Arya is at the airport (Flying to Mumbai for Bandra International Literary Fest) and is patted down by the same CISF guard that he insulted the previous time. He visits a bookstore and moves Chetan's book to # 2 and his own to # 1. Only this time Chetan sees him and makes him put the books back. Arya is having lower back pain and enters a Muslim prayer room for some back exercises. The other Muslims in the room object, so Arya starts Hindu prayers in the room just to anger them.

Rohini comes home and posts Dr Basu's video with his maid on twitter from Arya's account (without his knowledge). The video goes viral and even the PM removes Shovan Basu from the list of twitter people he follows. Basu approaches Shruti and says that he has arranged a meeting for Shruti with Bill and Melinda Gates, as requested. In exchange he wants Arya to take down the video from his account. Rohini admits that she took the video and knows the password to Arya's account. But she refuses to give it to Shruti. Arya refuses to delete the video unless Shruti agrees not to tell her parents about the divorce. Arya meets air-hostess Masha (Sonia Raathee) at the airport who is now a big fan of Arya for standing up for the maids. Arya knows Masha means 64 grains of rice in Sanskrit. Masha is on the same flight to Mumbai as Arya and invites him to "ask her for anything".

Chetan is flying business and Arya is in economy. The Muslim guy is in the seat next to him. Masha walks up to flirt with Arya, but the Muslim man won't let her and keeps asking for more water. Masha gives Arya her number. The Muslim man starts his prayers in the plane and someone yells "hijack". The man is beaten up and tied to a vacant seat in business class.

Shruti arrives for the literary festival. Arya still refuses to delete the tweet. Arya is supposed to be interviewing eunuchs on stage. But the organizers find that the eunuchs have canceled at the last minute. Without telling Arya, Shruti suggests to the organizers that since Arya is trending, he should interview maids instead. The organizers agree. On stage Arya starts the interview thinking the guests are eunuchs. Soon, the maids realize that Arya thinks they are eunuchs. It turns into a fracas.

Arya is sexually starved and lusts after Shruti's voluptuous figure. While Shruti wonders why men have suddenly started hitting on her. Arya tells her that men can smell single women. Meanwhile Agni sends him pictures of him being with several gorgeous women and asks how he is doing in Mumbai. Arya starts texting Masha, while Shruti tries to get Arya to come up from the floor and sleep with her on the bed. Arya has a room at the Taj, but sleeps in Shruti's parents' home on the floor, to keep up the charade. They have a nice, sweet moment and laugh at how homes are so small in Mumbai that couples can't ignore each other even after a fight.

Arya is worried that Rohini is sleeping with Shruti parents Surinder (Akash Khurana) and Madhu (Apara Mehta), as they still have sex at their age, and it might corrupt Rohini. The next day Mayank is keen to put together the Netflix deal. Agni sees a woman eyeing Arya from a corner and suggests that she must be ovulating and hence looking for a mate. During ovulation, woman's body temperature goes up and the standard in men goes down. Agni says it's very easy to find when a woman is ovulating using an app called "Follow", you just need to key in the date of the last period.

Reema comes for the meeting with her colleagues Preeti and Sheetal. Reema thinks that the show is on. That's when foreign gurus "Lovers of India" emerge from the elevator and Agni is angry since they have patented "Hare Rama", "Hare Krishna" and "Haldi".

Arya downloads the app and figures out that Shruti is ovulating that very day. He leaves the meeting with Reema hastily. Madhu tells Shruti that she is getting UTI due to unprotected sex with her dad. She wants Shruti to talk to her dad. Arya returns home and tries to impress Shruti by agreeing with her and even asking Rohini to do her homework in Mumbai. He tries to seduce her by lighting candles in their room and talks about buying curtains and furniture. Instead, Shruti asks him to ask her dad to start wearing condoms while having sex with Madhu.

Surinder is the deeply religious man and an ex-DGP of Mumbai Police. Since Shruti's peak ovulation is approaching, Arya agrees. Arya uses many metaphors (Golf clubs and carrots) but is unable communicate the issue to Surinder. Meanwhile Shruti finds Arya's phone and the Follow app that says that her peak ovulation hour is approaching. Arya loses patience and yells that he should use a condom while having sex with his wife. Surinder is offended. Surinder was earlier yelling at the neighbors for partying all night along, and complaining about religious festivals in the society. The neighbors overhear this conversation between Arya and Surinder and hoot him endlessly.

Arya returns to his room hoping for sex, but Shruti leaves for a dinner with her friend from IIM (Chikna Ratan). And tells him that she knows about the app.

One of Arya's ex-flames (Pooja) comes to Gurgaon and wants to meet Arya. She sounds very sexy on the phone. Arya and Shruti are attending a party that night and Shruti plans to wear a revealing dress with a high thigh slit. Arya knows Shruti wants men to hit on her. Shruti admits that she is looking for a short, hot affair with someone who is 25-26 years old and full of hope and life. Arya retorts those men at 25-26 years of age will sleep with anyone that is free.

Arya says that as a successful novelist, he can also get a hot date on demand. Dr Basu is leading the charge on "Save the planet" day and wants all society homes to turn off their lights from 7 to 8 pm. Basu also hits on Shruti. Basu is a divorcee and thinks he has a shot with Shruti, and she resents that. Arya says Basu is not sincere about his climate campaign, as he takes the car to walk 300 m, his kids' study at an AC school and eats chocolate which consumes 20,000 liters of water per kg to produce.

Pooja meets Arya. Pooja runs a start-up and Arya mentions that Shruti is a venture capitalist at Fountainhead and wants to introduce Pooja to her (Pooja had mentioned that she is looking for funding). Arya calls Shruti and talks about Pooja and her start-up. Shruti is intrigued and asks Arya to invite Pooja to the party (thrown by Shruti and Lee) that night. When Pooja gets out of the car, Arya sees that she has a fat behind and is distraught as his plan to make Shruti jealous will end in his humiliation.

Masha is flirting with Arya on the phone and Agni suggests that she might be a high-end escort. Arya takes Masha out on a date in a limousine. He takes cash out of his pants and entices her to take it. Masha refuses and feels weird. The stretch limousine gets stuck at a police barrier as it unable to navigate through the barriers. Arya argues with the cops and eventually gets them out. Things gets steamy in the limousine when Masha puts her arms around Arya, but he exclaims that she hasn't shaved her armpits. Masha gets down from the car

Arya returns home and his house lights are the only ones on between 7 and 8 pm, when the entire society goes dark. Basu brings the entire society, including Rohini and Shruti to protest outside Arya's home, but he simply comes out to his balcony and mocks them. Arya and Shruti get ready for the party and Shruti wants Arya to distract Rohini, so she doesn't see her in her thigh slit dress. Arya does so, but Rohini had already seen Shruti and says that she looks very hot. Lee comes over at the party and congratulates Arya for being a lucky man, for being married to Shruti. He says that he launched a ship in Busan to carry 3000 kms of undersea cable, and Arya quips that 35% of all traffic on internet is porn.

Pooja arrives in a velvet dress and her wide hips. Just then Shruti's dress strap comes undone and she almost exposes her breast. Arya removes his coat and covers Shruti. To distract attention, Arya declares that it is save the planet day and asks all lights to be switched off and the party to continue only in candlelight. On the way back home Shruti admits to Arya that she has tiny feelings for him. Arya yells at Ganesh for stinking and asks him to put on deodorant. Ganesh retorts that he is a farmer, and the smell is of the earth. Ganesh leaves the car on a red light. Arya decides to drive, even though he is drunk. The police have a barrier further ahead with the same cop he insulted earlier that day. Arya is prepared to pay the fine but the cop makes him stand on a chair and salute all the cars that pass by.

Pooja comes by at the barrier in her car and sees Arya on the chair and gets out. Shruti sees that Pooja has wide hips and all of Arya's hard work comes undone

Shruti has been spending a lot of time with Lee, after hours. Lee asks Shruti to spend a night with him. Meanwhile Arya has been dating Masha and spends a night with her in her hotel room. Masha dresses up as an air-hostess and they do a role play. While Lee is charming and seduces Shruti. Shruti and Arya both seemingly end up having sex that night with Lee and Masha respectively.

The next morning, he and Shruti consider seeing other people. Shruti is worried that Basu has been hitting on her way too directly and she can't handle it. Arya is worried that whom she sees next directly affects his own brand value. So, they decide to announce their separation, since if someone from the colony saw them with other people, it would stink up the relationship. Arya suggests a decoupling party to announce their divorce. This would present the divorce as a happy thing and that's the message that Rohini would get.

Arya can't park his car, so he gets frustrated and visits Ganesh's home in hopes of bringing him back. He goes to the village and asks for directions. the villagers ask him for the full address or the full name of Ganesh, either of which Arya doesn't know. Arya ends up making fun of the villagers, and abuses them, who turns out to be the village chief. The villagers chase Arya and Shruti in their jeeps as they try to escape the village. They end up running into Ganesh, who cools the matter down by explaining to the village chief that "F**k you" is normal language for the rich, and should not be taken personally at all

Ganesh takes Arya home, making him drive and he sits in the back seat. He asks if Arya knows his last name (which he doesn't), but forgives Arya when Arya asks what his last name is and they both have been seeing each other daily for the last 10 yrs. Ganesh returns to work and agrees to put deodorant.

Shruti and Arya attend Basu's photo gallery. Arya remembers how he gifted Masha a pendant that night and said that he was compensating her for sex. Masha thought that Arya thinks of her as a prostitute and kicks him out. Shruti also remembers that when Lee approached to kiss her, she said she couldn't do it and backed off. Basu has a showcase of a banana and an avocado, which represents the food of the rich and the poor. His masterpiece is himself, standing on a podium with a glass of wine, ignoring everyone as a reminder of today's self-indulgent lives

Arya brings Ganesh in and gets him to eat the banana. He then asks Ganesh to approach Basu and talk to him about sponsoring his daughter for college. Basu, in his masterpiece, ignores Ganesh and Ganesh ends up slapping him publicly for ignoring the plight of the poor. Arya giggles with Shruti all the way home.

Arya's locker room conduct disgusts everyone. He was in the club locker room, completely naked, when Jasmine calls from a bank trying to arrange his meeting with the HK branch. Arya is talking to Jasmine, when some kids come in and see him naked (Gollu takes his picture). The attendant comes in and chases the kid away, saying loudly that Arya is naked, which Jasmine hears and is offended as this is inappropriate behavior. She tells Arya that she will complain Meanwhile Bhumika and the other ladies confront Arya and tell him that he needs to wrap a towel around himself in the locker room.

Agni, Arya, and Mayank shoot a trailer for their show. Masha has a part in the trailer and looks hot. They are having a conference with Netflix. As Reema joins, Arya is telling Mayank and Agni about the decoupling party in Goa. Arya explains how they will dress up as Bride and Bridegroom and go around the fire backwards. Agni suggests that they should fling their rings at each other and as first night, they should go and fuck other people, in the same room.

The topic then changes to how Reema is making changes to the script all the time and how women have taken up all the top jobs in TV. All this while, Reema is on the conference call and is listening to every word. Finally, guys realize that Reema is on the call, and she says that the trailer doesn't work as the jokes are not landing. She says that most of the jokes are offensive, and these things cannot be said on TV nowadays.

Meanwhile Shruti tells her counselor Jwala about the decoupling party, but she is not happy about it. Counsellor says that Shruti should hire a male escort for sex, and shows her pictures of Sandy, a hot, young stud. The couple bickers over who will inform Rohini about the divorce in front of the counselor. When Arya questions the counselor about her credentials', she defends herself saying that she is a certified in dealing with trauma of humans and animals. Arya plays with the words and concludes that the counselor is sadist.

Shruti's parents visit unexpectedly. Arya thinks maybe someone is dying. Surinder is coughing badly. Arya says he should try LSD. Surinder tells Shruti that her brother is useless and lost a lot of money in restaurants and films. So, he is changing his will and giving everything to him, since she is doing fine. Shruti takes offense and announces that she is divorcing Arya, but they will stay together for the sake of Rohini. Surinder says Shruti has made this up and that there is no divorce. Shruti refuses to let go of her inheritance. And tells her parents not to tell Rohini as she doesn't know.

When the parents leave, Shruti orders Arya to tell Shruti, since her mom can't keep a secret. Arya insists that she tell Shruti as she is the one who wanted a divorce. Shruti, Arya and her parents attend Jwala's fundraiser for battered women. Entry is Rs 10,000 per head. Jwala has gay friends, which make Surinder uncomfortable. He makes some gay jokes, only to be told that they are getting married and going for their honeymoon to Sri Lanka.

Arya talks about over articulation of trauma, which offends Jwala. She confronts Arya about parading naked in front of kids, and the entire party piles onto him. Arya points out that Gollu took naked pics of him and that Bhumika is a lonely horny woman. Shruti has enough and yells at Arya publicly for being a self-absorbed and selfish person. Rohini was at the party and witnesses everything. When walking home, Rohini yells at Shruti for not defending Arya. Arya tells Rohini that Shruti has stood by and defended him a lot. And now it's time and that's why they are separating.

Rohini starts acting up and behaving like Arya, as a social outcast in all events. Arya assures Rohini that they are going to stay together till Rohini decides to leave.

Family and friends arrive in Goa for the decoupling party. Lee finds out that Shruti is in Goa and decides to come to meet her. They arrive at the Grand Hyatt in Goa. Agni arrives with his posse of foreign women. Ganesh is also invited. Arya conducts an experiment by putting a tied-up Mayank in the boot of his car. The security guard at the gate doesn't notice anything and waves him through. But the valet is terrified to find Mayank tied up and starts yelling. Arya steps in and calms the situation by saying that the job of the security is to get shot first in the event of a terrorist attack, so that the rich folks can safely hide somewhere.

Jwala has invited gigolo Sandy. She tells Shruti that she will send Sandy to her room in 1 hr. But Lee texts Shruti and asks her to meet him in the presidential suite in 1 hr. Meanwhile Masha walks in as her airline has put up their staff in the same resort, by chance. Arya approaches Masha and apologizes. He says he wasn't ready to have an affair and hence sabotaged it himself. He again charms Masha.

When Shruti is leaving, Surinder and Madhu come along and get into her room as Surinder needs to pee. While Surinder is urinating in the bathroom, Sandy arrives at the door and starts seducing Madhu. While massaging Madhu, Sandy removes his shirt and that's when Surinder comes out of the bathroom. Surinder chases Sandy out of the room.

Shruti arrives at the presidential suite only to find that Lee is on a conference call as his private jet had issues. Lee offers Shruti a job to lead his own hedge fund. The job is based in London. Arya ends up having sex with Masha. Masha has a loud orgasm, and Arya is happy. Masha and Arya start planning their future together. The party is named "Shruti Sheds Arya".

Shruti talks to Jwala about Lee's offer. Jwala says that if Shruti takes the offer, she can never sleep with him. Shruti says she has decided to take the offer. Surinder is rude to the waiters as he wants food to be served to him at his table, even though it is a buffet service. Arya pulls the waiter aside and give her tips on how to take revenge on rude guests. The waiter starts interrupting Surinder whenever he is about to have a conversation with anyone at the party. He loses his cool and yells at the waiter again

Jwala gets everyone talking about the history of Shruti and Arya's marriage. Agni feels they didn't have enough sex. Mayank feels they over-reacted. But Ganesh stands up and says that earlier both didn't even allow an armrest to come between them in a car. They used to kiss and chat a lot in the car. Later, the chats reduced, and fights increased. Even later, even less chat, more abuses, and intense fights with emotions. Then, one day, the armrest was back again. Then, they became quiet.

Fighting meant marriage was still on, but silence meant that the marriage was over. Arya and Shruti go through the decoupling ceremony. Rohini is lonely and sits isolated and Agni goes over and helps her understand that her parents are humans too and not Gods. Rohini finally accepts the divorce and sees that her parents are good friends.

Netflix wants their story as the show. Arya considers Shruti as his friend. Chetan face-times and wants to know how much Netflix is paying him, as Chetan is also trying to negotiate a deal and needs a reference figure. He sees Shruti sitting next to Arya and congratulates her for accepting Lee's offer and deciding to move to London with Rohini. Arya is dumbfounded.
