After the film was released on Netflix, Santosh Juvekar said that in the late 1990s, the security guard wouldn't let him enter Shahrukh Khan's office at Dreams Unlimited, the production house Khan ran with Juhi Chawla. Many years later, Juvekar got a call from Shahrukh Khan's Red Chilies Entertainment for this film.
