I had plans today. Thought I wld watch a bit of the show while eating breakfast. My long held fascination with Egypt took over, as it must have for millions of others. Mesmerized, I simply couldn't stop watching. Brilliant in all respects.

I was in college with an Egyptian man, his stories about his country never left me. I hope and pray I can visit before I pass. Such history moves me. Watching the workers filled me with both a longing and Pride. To come from such a people. Extraordinary.
