Watching comedians try to avoid laughing is surprisingly funny. Haven't laughed that much in a long time.

The Champions League of German comics. Love the concept. Already watched the Australian and Mexican one too, but liked the German version very much. Can't wait for the second season!

The idea of the show is great.
Still it's hard to rate this because some comedians are way funnier than others. (Teddy<3). So there is some cringe involved but also some really funny stuff :)

You know, would I be watching any of these performers do the stuff they did in this show, I probably wouldn't laugh a single time. And I get why they're doing this kind of nonsensical comedy, it's because they're not allowed to do political comedy, which for many of them seems to be the stuff they specialize in.
But the fun part about this whole thing isn't the jokes themselves, it's the comedy of the situation.
Throughout these 3 hours I always felt incresibly entertained and this was a, to me, enourmosly funny experience and I can only recommend it, though you do need to be able to accept this "silly" comedy they're doing.

I personally found this to be an excellent selection of comedians and even though not absolutely amazing, I can't deny laughing a lot and having a good time. So I would definetely recommend Amazon to do a second season of this and see how it goes. Should be quite low budget to produce and most comedians don't have anything to do atm anyways. Also, they there is no reason whatsoever to not release this all at once. This is the type of show you wanna binge, not wait a week to then not get into it again.
That was so hilarious I think I broke some ribs. Watching these comedians tortured, literally dying from inside... what a show.
As a viewer, how should you take seriously a series that the makers themselves don't take seriously? The beginning of the series is awesome, and mega fun, and then it's kind of constructed. Still super entertaining, simply because the principle works well. Unfortunately there are far too many previews built in by Amazon that take away a bit of desire.

No buzzer joke was funny,
and Jan van Weyde in the 4th season wasn't good either.
These shows often use buzzers to signal jokes, but they sometimes feel boring or forced. The humor can be predictable, making it less enjoyable for some viewers. On the other hand, Teddy Teclebrhan and Kurt Krömer are two comedians who really stand out. Teddy's high-energy, unpredictable humor is exciting, while Kurt's calm, serious style adds a unique twist to German comedy. They bring something fresh, which makes them more enjoyable to watch. Still, it's fair to say that German humor overall isn't the best for everyone. It can feel too simple, predictable, or lacking in variety compared to comedy from other countries.

Fartjokes level of comedy. Sometimes absolute cringefest. After watching 3 episodes (half an hour each) I had just one little grin in my face once. Kinda disappointing, cause the format on itself is pretty cool.
I tried, but gave up after two episodes. I can't believe the good reviews. The participants are trying much to hard to do ( bad) "comedy". I used quotation marks on "comedy" because doing stupid faces or sounds doesn't really qualify as comedy for me. German mainstream comedy always was rather shallow, this is no exception.
I don't want to offend anyone, but it's pathetic. All the competitors are struggling to be funny but the German humor is for children. The Germans should stay and make cars. It seems that all participants suffer from stomach cramps. Very theatrical. It's dramatic.

Classic German humor. Embarrassing and predictable. Very unpleasant to watch. Maybe entertaining for children and light minds. Therefore two stars.

This show confirms what I already knew - Germans have no humor, and have no comedians. Otto waalkes once made me laugh, that's it. Generations who grew up with Dieter Hallervorden and Rudi Carrell on television will probably like the show, but here is nothing of international format. But if you liked the synchronized version of Monty Python's flying circus, then there's also a chance you'll laugh at this.

Apart from the likeable reunion with old comedy greats, this Comedian Big Brother is a rather conceptless disappointment. The only thing that makes it purely interesting is the peeping tom effect. All the time, everyone is trying to do nothing and say nothing so as not to be tempted to pull a face. In the process, some of them show how badly spontaneous and out of itself they can be funny. Without a script and good preparation there is not much or only cold coffee. Some of them are simply not funny, but unbelievably unfunny and dumb (Teddy).
I also can't believe that the participants all find each other funny. It can be strongly assumed that behind some of the tortured expressions and funny moments there is simply a good fee.
The show neither pursues a good interesting idea nor offers honest fun. The level is the lowest drawer, but that's unfortunately what German comedy is famous for. LOL is a waste of time.

Yet another free tv style show making it's way to amazon prime. Not bad, not good either. It does have its funny moments but does not deserve the insanely high rating it currently has.

It's just plain brutal to watch. Not sure what's worse: the "jokes" itself or the comedians pretending any of that is actually funny. I usually don't write reviews but I feel obligated to prevent others from watching and the comedians from continuing. I have no words for this. Yes, maybe that is funny if you're 5 or wicked stoned. Other than that it's just a disgrace...
Jesus... how does that get a pass by any producer/platform?

In all honesty this was neither funny nor entertaining.
If it is the pinnacle of German comedy to randomly shave your head or to make random fart imitations to make others laugh then you did not miss much.

Although there a some very capable German comedians in this format it isn't funny at all. Simply German Comedy at it's worst.

Can't understand the good reviews, it is just another example for lousy german humour. It reminds me of the Schillerstraße, an older impro-comedy series wich was produce in Germany as well, where a bunch of so called ''comedians' made unfunny jokes and the only people who thought the show is funny were the contributing persons.
