Recorded live at the Regent Street Cinema (Theatre) in London's Baker Street, on Friday 24th June 2016.
This was a unique chance for autistic people to be the first audience to hear a piece of music designed specifically for them, written and performed by a musical legend.
Rick was interviewed backstage before the concert earlier in the afternoon. This has yet to be released (as at January 2021)
Symphony for the Spectrum was written in 6 parts. The final part (part IV) was released across Rick's social media channels as late as 2020.
Much of the concert remains in the vaults. The aim was to re visit this piece and re-record it again in a controlled environment (studio)
This piece has been written especially for children and adults on the autistic spectrum and is part of the Marylebone Music Festival.
