... from South Africa, three years since program first aired on the obscure M-network, now given second life, without any promotion, by Acorn TV... IMDb showing only 27 ratings & 3 written reviews (now to be 4)... it's a show that's a surprise, script is of course infuriatingly over the top in believability, yet it is pretty-well-acted & produced... not showing on Wikipedia, others sites have it as a 'returning-series'... for the few having seen and enjoyed it one would most surely be looked forward to
... few shows have no critic reviews showing anywhere, this is one... the series isn't helped by the fact there are other series, same title, one with several well known stars, this only adds to the confusion surrounding this series... will there sometime be a 2nd series, time will tell, other shows having returned after many years dormant... here's only hoping.

I can't believe they actually planned to have a second season from a plot so flat and simple

It starts out with a bang- and sad- I had the exact same thing happen to me with my first daughter. However it is strangely gripping, infuriating and dumb at the same time. There are huge holes in the plot but luckily it's interesting enough to keep watching. Somehow it's just too unbelievable that a Dr would let this go on even for her bff....they needed to spend the first episode developing the characters and pregnancy so that when it happens we are invested and care...there is no way a Dr would have gotten away with this and the nurses and paperwork...apart the fury it makes me feel it's worth it.
