Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in Cop Out (2010)

Trivia

Cop Out

Edit
Seann William Scott said on Kevin Pollak's Chat Show that a lot of his scenes were improvised, such as the scene where he finishes Tracy Morgan's lines and the jail scene.
On one occasion, Bruce Willis said to Kevin Smith, "I'm Bruce Willis! I've been Bruce Willis successfully for 25 years! How long have you been Silent Bob, motherfucker?"
Kevin Smith and Bruce Willis did not get along well at all on set. Reports surfaced that Willis disliked Smith's direction, felt he didn't interact enough with the cast, and disagreed with Smith's use of marijuana. Smith has counter-claimed that working with Willis was "soul crushing", stating that Willis often refused to listen to direction, was occasionally combative and was generally unpleasant on and off-set.
After one particularly stressful time working with Bruce Willis, Kevin Smith retired to his trailer and punched three holes in the bathroom wall - holes his assistant later dubbed, "Die Hard One, Die Hard Two, and Die Hard Three."
Bruce Willis would openly refuse to stand on his lighting mark in outdoor scenes, then ignore Kevin Smith's orders during filming and walk off to the catering table constantly.

Director Trademark

Kevin Smith: [comic books] A vintage Justice League action figure is shown.
Kevin Smith: [Star Wars] Paul (Tracy Morgan) quotes a line from Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
