Sandwiched Forever is a sitcom. In the Sandwiched Forever web series, all the small incidents, from mother-in-law's problems, keep the atmosphere sour-sweet-puffy.
At the same time, in this, their friends and their children are faces to face in different flats. The equations of their relationships, love, and friendship with each other, misunderstandings-happiness, rage-coaxing, and good-bad situations give rise to petty events.
Their confusion and difficulties cause the audience to laugh. Here in the center are Samar and Naina, sandwiches made between their parents. Nearly every story revolves around what is happening in their home or life.
In the series edit, the windows of the same floor flats are used repeatedly for the transition, the rest of this serial does not get stuck anywhere. Except that it gets slowed down somewhere.
Writers have given different strengths and flaws to each character.

One of the finest comedy series I watched. Thanks to entire team for bringing such a beautiful and healthy content in form of such comedy drama. You guys rocks 👍🏼
With current loads of webseries, I was susceptible to watch it or not, especially after watching the show's promo it didn't convince me. Looking at positive reviews I decided to give a try to first episode and I liked it.
It reminds me popular sitcom "Sumit Sambhal Lega", but lacked a bit than that.
Not all punches are funny but background laughter begs you to laugh. Each episode is approx 20mins but still pace is slow.
On acting front, Zakir looked cute and most convincing and Lubna at most places. Divya didn't have much punches but she did fine job. Kunaal & Ahana had good chemistry. Atul Kulkarni is such a fine actor, but it seemed he is not comfortable in some comedy scenes, somewhere he seemed to be copying someone else's. He managed to somehow pull off his role.
Overall its good to watch and enjoyable in most parts.

First time I watched a funny genre series and I'm blown away. I'm gonna watch this season at least 10 times. I wish this series would have 100 episodes.

After "Khichdi" & "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai"; It's been a long time since seeing such a comedy series. Each and every character was too funny and each every character stole the show. I have already watched Rohan Sippy's Directed movies like.. "Dum maaro Dum", 'Bluffmaster", and "Nautanki Saala"... And that was classic Commedy and entertaining movies; like this web series. I would like to appreciate specially Dialogue Writers, Editors, Screenplay Writers and Art Directors for their amazing work. I don't know why this web series has ("A") as a Adult rating on Sony LIV Application..? This kind of Comedy web series deserves Second Season.. and I am waiting for it.
This is a must watch...every episode you will laugh like anything..writting and acting is excellent

Storyline is great, awesome chemistry. Loved the concept.
Only thing I hated is the laughing tracks, I personally hate it in form, it's like you are being forced to laugh even if you don't have to. This series didn't required it. Anyways rated it maximum.

In the 80's and 90's, sitcoms used to be extremely popular in India. Those were the times, when the entire family would sit together and watch these comedy shows. For a short period of time it allowed everyone to forget all their worries and have a good laugh with their loved ones around them. Sandwiched Forever is Bharat Kukreti's attempt at bringing back the good old times, except that this show is neither funny nor can it be watched with your family members around you.
WHAT'S GOOD :
1. The show has brought together some amazingly talented actors and all of them shine in their respective roles. I have never seen Atul Kulkarni do comedy, so it was quite an unexpected but pleasant surprise to see him act in a goofy manner with a lot of melodrama. I only remember Divya Seth from Humlog and Dekh Bhai Dekh, so it was good to see her after a long time. Divya is extremely convincing as the intimidating wife and mother. Zakir Hussain is known to scare people through his villainous acts in movies, not to make them laugh, but he succeeds in doing that as well. Lubna Salim plays the cute but dumb Manjiri quite well but is often letdown due to poor writing. Kunaal Roy Kapur has by now mastered this role of a lazy and under confident guy, so he doesn't disappoint. Aahana Kumra is not known for doing comedy shows, so this show definitely allows her to do something that she hasn't done before. Aahana also adds glamour to the show, as she can be seen wearing skimpy outfits throughout the series and there is no denying that she looks extremely sexy in every single one of them.
2. Bharat Kukreti is known mostly for being the creator of Comedy Nights with Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show, so it's definitely a way forward for him to enter the world of web-series through this sit-com. Although, I must say that his work with Kapil was way better than this.
WHAT'S BAD :
1. The show lacks humour. The first and foremost thing that one looks for in a comedy show is its ability to make you laugh, this one doesn't have that. The jokes are either too old or too lame to evoke any kind of laughter.
2. The show is poorly paced. While watching Sandwiched Forever, you realize that it's not a web-series, instead it's television show that has been released digitally. The show is extremely slow and more often than not ends up being a boring watch. In the era of binge watching shows, Sandwiched Forever doesn't motivate you to watch the next episode, because you don't want to endure the pain of boredom once again.
3. The humour of the show often consists of double meaning jokes laced with sexual innuendo. Now, it can be counted as a positive for someone looking for this kind of humour, but it wasn't for me. Also, double meaning jokes are often added into the screenplay to hide its incompetence, a fact that holds true for this show.
4. A laughter track has been used in almost every scene, for no reason at all. Long time back, some shows like 'Friends' were recorded with a live audience, so their reaction was captured and added into the show. Be it laughter or excitement or shock or silence, it was always a real reaction. Later on some shows started adding a laughter track or an audience reaction, it wasn't real but was used aptly. But in this show, a laughter track has been added randomly after every ten seconds. Also, how can a laughter track help when the scene itself is not funny ?
5. The structure of every episode is pretty much the same. The husband gets stuck between two opinions given by his mother and wife, boy's father has an altercation with his wife, mother-in-law remains lost in her supposedly magic world and says something stupid at regular intervals, father-in-law doesn't trust his son-in-law, there will be some misunderstanding because apparently all characters lack common sense, and then everything gets resolved in the end. The one line plot of every episode is the chaos created due to misunderstanding between characters. You know where it's going the moment an episode starts, simply put, the show offers no surprises, everything is extremely predictable, and that is not something you would want your work to be if you intend to make a comedy show.
In conclusion, Sandwiched Forever is a casual time pass show that suffers from below par writing. If you are looking for entertainment, then you need to look elsewhere because this show offers very little of it.

Zakir Hussain with his superb timing mesmerized me. Rest of the actors are also very good. Kudos to the writing team for some fresh puns and hilarious one liners. Must watch.

An Excellent Family Drama involving a Newly wedded Couple Kunaal Roy Kapur-Aahana Kumar surrounded by their respective parents played by well acclaimed Actors like Atul Kulkarni, Lubna Salim, Zakir Husaain
& Divya Seth Shah.
It's one of Best series We've watched in recent times.. It gets better n better with each passing episode and while watching last one the feeling is that why it's the last...
Every Actor's performance is par excellence. All have justified their characters in the best possible manner. Every character is relatable.
Direction by Pankaj Sudheer Mishra(who also directed Many Episodes of Kapil Sharma Show) and Rohan Sippy son of Ramesh Sippy is Awesome.
Overall A Great Family Comedy
Watch it for its amazing cast and humorous lines.
Do not compare the show to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. or any other Hollywood sitcom, then you will not like it that much. The show is based on typical family relations and problems but obviously the characters are a little too much sometimes for the sake of punches.

I cur 2 points due to two reasons- couple of repeated plots and lil bit of overacting by the female lead.
Everything else is awesome. Atul Kulkarni and Zakir Hussain are spot on. As always, Kunal roy kapoor is having super comic timing. Divya Seth and Lubna Salim have fully justified their roles.

Not sure what the hype is about. Atul kulkarni such a seasoned actor looks so uncomfortable doing such type of comedy. It has been 3 episodes and not a single lol moment for me and the fake laughter reel makes it worse
