Just watched this last night and definitely was kept on my toes the whole time! Loved the music, It made me feel like something I didn't see coming was around every corner. A couple parts made me literally jump in my seat! I got very attached to the main character and her whole story line, the actress that played her seriously nailed the part and basically had me going on an emotional rollercoaster with her! A solid story line but also was beautifully filmed! I highly recommend this for a new indie watch!

"Best Laid Plans" has a cleverly constructed story with twists and turns you won't see coming. The editing especially at the climax felt like watching a slightly more indie version of an early Nolan crime / thriller (think Memento or Insomnia). Performances are fun, believable, and engaging. Excited to watch again with someone who hasn't seen it before.

This film is genuinely engaging and unique. The suspense and tension built in a well lit daylight setting was a very interesting take on a thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed. They did an excellent job in the story and edit - giving the audience everything they need to not be tricked while also keeping them guessing. The acting, though not "name talent" (YET) I thought, was exceptional with beautiful (sometimes ugly) and specific character portrayals.

I'm looking forward to seeing more from this team and would recommend this film to anyone who loves a great story!

I really enjoyed watching this movie. It was a thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. I kept waiting to see what surprise was next. It was just the right amount of scary yet tugged at your heart.

Just finished watching this movie. WOW . . . It kept me guessing at every turn but I was never even close to having the ending figured out. Great original concept, great acting, great music, all around GREAT film !!! Bravo Highly recommend this movie !!!

This plot is something that more directors in Hollywood should be covering! The performances are so heartfelt and I really felt that I knew what each character was feeling throughout the whole film. The character building and suspense was done so perfectly.

Beautifully written, acted, and shot! This movie is a wild ride and I am here for it. Lots of twists and turns as the story went along. I was definitely on the edge of my seat for the last 30 minutes trying to put all the pieces together.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie!! It keeps you on your toes every bit of the way as we dance around the relationships between the characters in the film. The ending has a magnificent twist with a fresh and unique point of view. The acting is A+!! Every character was so thought out and had their own agenda. I highly recommend watching this movie!!

This movie roped me in immediately by the main character's morning interaction with her children, which carried me further into the movie, falling in love with her as she goes about her day, until all hell breaks loose. This movie is so well done from beginning to end. Great writing. Great acting. All of your questions will be answered at the end of the movie. (And there will be several) Will you be screaming RUN? Yes. Will you be on the edge of your seat? Yes. Will you figure out the ending? NO! I am fan. I LOVE a good thriller, and this movie is checking all of my boxes.

The wife and I really enjoyed watching this one from beginning to end. The plot twists are perfectly executed and the acting is phenomenal. The movie was shot really well and it brings you right into the mix with the characters. Absolutely loved the ending. This movie is unforgettable and Hollywood needs to take some notes. It is nothing that you would expect but is exactly what you would want see.
