I saw this as at a festival a couple years ago and I just found out it will be streaming soon.

Captive contains more grit as a short than modern full length films in the genre. From beginning to end, you feel you're in a world that's rotting away. It's a subject that demands so much in make-up and effects, and it's done to perfection.. This is as good as gets in terms of post-apocalyptic sci-fi. Pure power from Charlotte Bjornbak who both wrote it and plays the lead. Bjornbak's portrayal of the test subject is hauntingly brilliant. I really hope it's made into a full length feature or even a series.
