Movie is for entertainment, a storytelling act, making the person watching feel afraid or to cause any negative emotions should not be the intention of the movie, I had to watch this movie on subtitles alone, without the background music, it did feel an ok movie, good acting, different story, though it has many logical flaws, I would have said its a good movie if you discount the background music.
Watched it for 15 minutes only because of high rating but dont go by ratings it's a bad below average movie. Very very poor actors, acting, story, direction. Don't waste your time.
"Kayamai Kadakka" is very well-made written and superlatively performed film. Kiran. R Storytelling is brilliant and revolutionary. No words Direction is splendid, Beautiful cinematography, Excellent music and bang on performances, everything was so proficient in its place.
The performances of Masanth Natarajan and Vatsan Natarajan are really outstanding. With a film like this, the acting has to be brilliant, and it frequently is. Vatsan did excellently psychologically-focused performance. Masanth also really stretch well himself and he extraordinarily fits to the character throughout the film.
The film keeps you engaged and gives some fresh perspective which may not be easily relatable but part of the world we live in this society. The brave story and it is superbly directed, acted and told with a minimal budget. Overall this is an excellent movie. Must watchable one...Don't miss it guys..

The story was a big let down. The second the protagonist narrated his story to the police, the ending could be seen miles away. Very predictable. I just forwarded it to the end to see if I had that guessed right and bingo.
Movie felt very stretched for 95% of the time.
Decent production for a B movie. Main character has given a decent performance but that's about it.

The plot plays with your mind constantly. Though the close shot cinematography and minimal edits with only 2 characters makes it slightly tedious to watch, it is worth it. The ending has a short film finesse. One of the best indie films!!

Kayamai Kadakka's narrative made sense! We could identify with Santosh and the slow atmosphere gave us time to digest the intricate plot
-Santosh (Masanth Natarajan) was the simple guy next door who cared for social issues and struck a friendship online with a like-minded individual. Immediately, we connected with him. The first scenes quickly grabbed our attention and we were engrossed till the end. On their first meeting, the two friends engaged in a gripping discussion about the terrible things happening in society; Santosh was timid while the Facebook pal (Vatsan M Natarajan) was the vocal one.
Kayamai Kadakka wasn't a linear storyline, we witnessed the transformation of characters and spin of events. The film talked about social justice from a raw standpoint and led us to ruminate on the true meaning of integrity -The cast was so down-to-earth. No one was overstepping anyone, instead, they were pulling us into the story -Sundar Ram Krishnan aced the photography!!
-Kayamai Kadakka was a good example of less is more; actually, it was only at the end we noticed how small the cast was. Andddd there was no heroine, a great way to break from the norm.

I really liked the gripping story. Even though I could guess the ending, there are a few scenes to question my guess and nicely answered at the end. Loved the close cut shots - cinematography and editing. Even acting was above average. Surprised to see that this is a crowd funded movie - did not feel like one even in a single scene..
