Pittsburgh filmmaker Bruce Koelher has been carving a niche for himself with a pair of horror movies starring Olympic gold medalist/ amateur wrestler turned professional wrestler Kurt Angle. The duo behind last year's End Game and next week's River of Darkness are back for thirds with Death From Above.
This time FX master Tom Savini, the Maniac Cop himself, and more pro wrestlers are getting in on the terror.
Kurt Angle finds himself cast as a Druid demon, automatically guaranteeing that even if the movie turns out to be a dud, it'll be an entertaining dud. Tom Savini is the sheriff standing in his way. Maniac Cop Robert Z'Dar factors into it all somehow. But Angle's greatest nemesis to this force of evil will be a fellow pro wrestler: Psycho Sid Vicious, who can be seen playing a waterlogged zombie terrorizing Angle in River of Darkness. More pro wrestlers from...

Okay, so Kurt Angle's last movie End Game (review here) didn't exactly score itself a clean pinfall victory with fans, but the man is at it again in River of Darkness, this time with Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid Vicious, and original Night of the Living Dead zombie Bill Hinzman in tow. Ready for some sales art and a trailer, or should we simply throw a packet of salt in your eyes?
Check out the latest material available now for Cannes including a new typo ridden synopsis, artwork, and more below courtesy of Spotlight Pictures!

Is Moronic Mark crazy? Well he does have the adjective "Moronic" in front of his first name. But in all fairness, It's the Devil's Puppet's fault because he makes Mark watch and review the cheesey, generic, and done more times that a gang bang record holder's vagina serial killer/ cop plotline movie called End Game starring Kurt Angle (gold medalist wrestler and 13 time professional champ). It's still better than The Marine and it's worth a check out for extremely diehard Angle fans (which Mark is, but Kurt still kicks his ass).

Genre filmmaker/actor Alan Rowe Kelly got in touch with the news that River Of Darkness, a horror feature he co-stars in, has wrapped production, and sent along a few exclusive pics from the movie (check ’em out below). The cast is headed by pro wrestlers Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash, Psycho Sid Vicious and Ray Lloyd (a.k.a. Glacier).
Angle stars as Will Logan (seen in the first two photos with Kelly as crazy Mary Rutledge), the sheriff of a small river town who does battle with the Jacobs brothers (played by Nash, Vicious and The Mothman Prophecies’ Bill Laing), a trio of long-executed squatters who have returned from the grave to avenge themselves against the village. Bruce Koehler, whose serial-killer flick End Game (also starring Angle) hits DVD from First Look December 1, scripted and directed, and Bill Hinzman from the original Night Of The Living Dead (third photo...

Wrestlers Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Psycho Sid Vicious mix is up with the likes of Bill Hinzman ( Night of the Living Dead ) and Alan Rowe Kelly in the new indie horror flick River of Darkness . Writer-director Bruce Koehler's indie effort finds Angle playing Will Logan, a sheriff protecting his town from the resurrected Jacobs brothers (Nash, Sid and Bill Laing), siblings who were lynched long ago and are back to seek revenge from beyond the grave. Behind-the-scenes video of the "brothers" in the make-up trailer surfaced. View is below. Koehler's credits include End Game and 19 Doors . Angle's been a busy fella. Earlier this year he was in front of the camera on Dead of Night with Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington.

The December DVD release of End Game sees the continuation of the grand tradition of casting pro wrestlers and reality television contestants in starring film roles. Olympic gold medal winning amateur wrestler turned professional wrestler Kurt Angle stars as a psycho-sexual serial killer stalking a stripper played by "Survivor: Amazon" winner Jenna Morasca. I can assure you it is every bit as good as it sounds.
Quite a run for pro wrestlers in genre films of late. Last month brought us the horror comedy Dark Rising with WWE's Christian and this month will see the release of Albino Farm co-starring WWE's Chris Jericho. Now Tna's Kurt Angle joins the fray as a master of disguise serial killer stalking a stripper while playing mind games against the cop hot on his trail.
I scored perhaps the first review of director Bruce Koehler's End Game and let me tell you it...

Oh, it's true! It's damn true! Someone really made a serial killer movie that has Olympic gold medal winning amateur wrestler turned world champion professional wrestler Kurt Angle as stalking a sexy ex-Survivor contestant and it's title is End Game.
