'I AM 24' offers Superb Performances, which alone, are worth watching. As a film, its decent, but a monotonous second-hour acts as a deterrent.

Saying the truth was always difficult, and lying, they say, is much simpler. Shubendu lives by the tougher option. But when this honest, 42 year old balding writer falls in love with a 22 year old beauty queen, he is tempted to lie. What's more, his jerk of a roommate, Gagan, who swears by the magic of lies, helps him cook up stories. What follows is a hilarious ride of lies, cover-ups, goof-ups and contradicting tales.

'I AM 24' has an interesting premise & most of the jokes/sequences work, but they are limited in its first-hour. The second-hour is monotonous & lacks proper pacing. Once the protagonist, played by Rajat Kapoor, decides to spill out the truth to his lady-love, one expects the graph to go higher, but sadly, it doesn't. Also, the climax looks hurried.

The Screenplay is good in the first-hour, but slips in the second-hour. Saurabh Shukla's Direction is simplistic. Cinematography, Editing & Art Design, are fair.

Performance-Wise: Rajat Kapoor is wonderfully restrained. He's in terrific form here. Ranvir Shorey is fun to watch. His comedic areas stand out. Neha Dhupia is simply brilliant. Manjari does a passable job. Vijay Raaz is, as always, first-rate. Saurabh Shukla shows up in an entertaining cameo.

On the whole, 'I AM 24' appeals in parts, but the performances win you over.

Lilette Dubey and Saurabh Shukla who played on screen couple fit the bill perfectly with their acting wonder.Jatin Pandit's music is good and the songs are catchy as well. Overall I M 24 is a simple story that has been narrated in a simple manner and must be watched at least once.

Ranveer Shorey is good as always.This just might be one of his better performance.Neha Dhupia,Manjari and Rajat Kapoor have made valuable contributions to the movie. Go and watch the movie guys to know more about the how the movie moulds after so many lies and truths.It is an outstanding movie and worth each penny spent on it.

Another planman Production with lot of fun and entertainment.I am a big fan of Ranvir Shorey and the way he acted in this movie,how he helps Rajat Kapoor to befool a girl on internet about his age,his dialogs,i like all of that.I have seen all the movies given by Planman Production and like all of that but this is the best movie i have seen.Movie with lot of fun,adventures,lies,romance.Very few movies contains all these things together and this is the one.Rajat kapoor Girl Manjri Fadnis is also good in this movie,but Ranvir Shorey acting,drama was awesome.I had a great fun while watching the movie.Those who haven't watch it,must watch,you'll had fun.

Arindam Chaudhuri always make good films with a good subject,i like all his movies.We have seen Ranvir Shorey in lot of comedy movies,and as in other movie,he is the best.The way he speaks his dialogs is really funny.In find the movie is really good.Lot of comedy with lot of Entertainment.The subject taken in this movie is very good and contain all the things a movie wants to be successful.All stars have done a great job.Very few movies contains all these things together and this is the one.Manjari Phadnis have also a good job. Basically the movie revolves around the Shubendu played by Rajat Kapoor and Kanak played by Manjari Phadnis who want to be beauty queen.Shubendu meet kanak in an online chat and starts liking her.To know her,he used to tell lie about himself to her and his roommate Gagan helps him to lie.

I M 24 is a film for people who love watching comedy films with lots of drama and suspense.It is also a very rare and great opportunity for the fans of Ranvir Shorey,one of the lead characters in the film, to see his superb acting. The movie is directed by comedian Saurabh Shukla.Rajat Kapoor is in the lead role of Shubendu and is brilliant in his role.Manjari Fadnis,who plays the role of Kanika,also the dream girl of Shubendu is really good in the film. Ranvir is brilliant as Gagandeep and for me he is the one who is the backbone of the film. It is a different film drama,suspense,comedy and romance.The ride of lies and truth is awesome one and can be enjoyed only when we watch it.

I am 24 is a movie with lots of comic scenes and with lots of twists and turns.The best thing i like in the movie is its storyline and the way story has been depicted through all the cast is just mind blowing.The movie revolves around an old guy who falls in love with a girl who is almost half of his age and to impress that girl he has to take a wrong path and speaks lie to her while chatting with her on internet.His roommate helps him to impress that girl but soon he realize that lying is not necessarily the best way to win in love. I like the comedy types of movies and this is my types movie,comedy,romance with lot of adventures.Lot of truths and and lies,with twist and turns,this is what I m 24 is all about.

I m 24,directed by Saurabh Shukla,is a very interesting movie with different storyline and complete different concept.It is said that this movie is based on real life incident.The story demands comedy as well as romance and the actor Rajat Kapoor fulfill all the things this movie demands.The movie is just awesome,everything in the movie is just perfect.Either it is acting,or direction,or dialogs.The movie also casts Ranvir Shorey,i have seen him in various comic movies but for me this is his best performance ever.Apart from this two great actors,other actors Manjari Fadnis and Neha Dhupia,also good in the movie.All have done a very good job.

Saurabh Shukla writer and director of the film has done a commendable job. The music and songs of the film are simply awesome and I particularly like Do lafzo ki. It is one of my favourite songs.Rest of the songs are also very nice. Talking about the movie and performance,Ranvir Shorey is the trump card in this one in the role of Gagandeep with a splendid performance.Rajat Kapoor as Shubendu is also awesome.He is in the lead role of a 42 years old man who falls in love with a much younger girl and in order to impress her goes on to tell a series of lies.The lies and the goof ups really make the entire movie really funny and entertaining.Overall it is an ultimate romantic comedy.

Arindam Chaudhuri again came up with very interesting and unique movie I m 24,this time he gave us comedy movie.The best part in the movie for me is Ranvir Shorey.I am a big fan of him and have watched all his movies and this is the best he gave till now.Everything is just perfect in the movie,storyline,casting,comedy,entertainment. The movie is a romantic comedy and is an absolute fun to watch.The Planman Motion Picture always come out with a movie that is based on a unique subject and I M 24 is again a movie that is something different and something that guarantees of many funny moments, good dialogs and some one liners that you wont find it anywhere else. I would suggest all my friends to watch this movie as I am sure they would all enjoy it to the fullest.

He is simple and honest to the core. Gagandeep Mishra (Ranvir Shorey), his roommate is another aspiring actor who has come to the dreamland Mumbai to become a superstar. Unlike Shubendu, Gagandeep is street-smart and even resorts to lies without batting an eyelid.Cinematographer Fuwad Khan has captured some beautiful locales of Mumbai which is a plus point for the movie. Go and watch this awesome romantic comedy for the brilliant performances by Ranvir Shorey and Rajat Kapoor.

I have noticed that all the comic movies came today contain same silly jokes which we had heard earlier,nothing is new,but this movie came with something unique and different with lot of punches and makes you laugh throughout the movie.I m 24 is a movie with different storyline and with great comedy and best thing is with great actors.

The role of Shubendu,a 42 years old man has been excellently played by Rajat Kapoor,who is an honest guy throughout his life until he meets Manjari.He is very well supported by Gagan,played by Ranveer who helps Shubendu to win over the young girl's heart.All this tricks and tips involves lot of lies and who better than Gagan to guide Shubendu.

Shubendu Roy penning the story of his life and also describes all those people who have been part of it.His Flatmate Gagandeep played by Ranvir Shorey is a liar.Sheela played by Neha Dhupia plays girlfriend of Gagandeep.Shubendu lies to a girl about his age,about his work with the help of his roommate Gagandeep.What happens next,you must see by yourself.

Filmmaker Saurabh Shukla plays with the idea of human wants very well as he shows two struggler's taking to all means to attain their desires, for one of being a young and successful writer and for the other of being an actor. The film is also a satirical representation of the film world and the lives of the filmy people. Ranvir Shorey is probably the biggest reason of comedy in the film. The way he delivers his lines and mouths funny dialogs cracks the audiences up almost instantly. Even the comic antics between the trio of Vijay Raaz, the waiter cum struggling actor, Saurabh Shukla, the film producer and Lilette Dubey his secretary is brilliant.

I m 24 is a romantic comedy for everyone.The story of a 42 years old,bald man who is true to the core of his heart has been superbly made by Saurabh Shukla.Shubendu,played by Rajat Kapoor plays the lead role. An honest and simple man,Shubendu one day meets a girl Kanka(Manjari Fadnis) who completely changes his life.The day he meets her he falls in love with her and in his desire to win her heart goes on to tell series of lies.He is helped in all this by his room mate and friend,Gagandeep(Ranvir Shorey).Gagan helps Shubendu in lying and making stories.And in all this,he starts enjoying the ride of lies and truth.But he also realizes that one day he must bring all this lies to an end.All this makes the movie really funny and comic.Ranvir Shorey as Gagan is superb.I liked him in most of the films that he has done.He gives his best in whatever he does,be it a very short lived role.With I M 24 Saurabh Shukla indeed has made a very entertaining film for every type of audience.

I used to watch comedy movies more as compared to romantic movies,when i saw the trailer of the movie and saw Ranvir Shorey,one of my favorite comedy actor,i decided to watch the movie on first day of its release,and literally i saw it on first day with my friends and we all had a great fun.We all had different reasons to watch the movie as i was fan of ranvir shorey,one of my friend came with us to watch rajat kapoor in the movie and other came just because its Arindam Chaudhuri's planman producion.We all are a very big fan of Arindam sir's movie and his Do Dooni char is in fact my favorite movie.He always made movies on different and unique subjects which we surely like it.I am always curious to know about the planman production movies because although the movies are small budget films but their subject,story, screenplay,dialogs are just awesome.I was waiting from a long time for planman productions to release such a nice movie and they came,this time with comedy,not just comedy but awesome comedy.Guys who have missed it must watch,it really worth watching.
