"Forecast" is the first Bulgarian co-production of one of the biggest American independent producers Nu Image /Millennium Films, LA.
The main actress Teodora Duhovnikova was back injured after a serious car crash. The director waited for her to get well and secured doubles for all difficult scenes.
The actors and the director spent a week in a windsurf-training camp on a Turkish island. For a movie telling a story for a lack of wind the training camp worked more as a team building, rehearsals and improvisation trials, getting fit and learning-by-watching the way the real surfers are.
Selected in the A category competition of Cairo International Film festival, "Forecast" participated in its Festival of Festivals section, because it already premiered at the Mannheim-Heidelberg Film Festival competition.
