History is disputed.
Dhira dubbing, diction in telugu is a big minus.
The 3D animation could have been even better. But it is Ok, if it is due to budgetary constraints.
Finally, a good attempt by the team.

Most of the film's comedy is based on body shaming and they even have characters named for body shaming. This is giving a direct message to kids that body shaming is totally ok as long as it is being done for fun. The historical accuracy just belongs to dumps. Kids have nothing to gain from this film except prejudices and false sense of identity.

Boring from the start to end card. There was no humour and it will test your patience. First half of the movie was so slow that even I took couple of naps unknowingly. Visuals and animations were so amateur.

I started watching the movie with very low expectations, and the 1st act of the movie appeared to be just better than what I expected... But later on I got involved in it and ended up liking it... an impeccable story, with a good cinematography and good music... but this movie can be a way shorter than the one at present, with the same story... the comedy is exclusively for kids, and felt unnecessary sometimes... character animation and character design could be a lot better... back ground music is loud through out the movie... apart from these drawbacks this movie deserves a lot of appreciation and encouragement for this genre...

It is really unfortunate to see the lack of minimum care and commitment from the lead dubbing artist in what is supposed to be a great story.
Especially when the role is of a great Telugu Poet and it is of such historic significance, it would've been minimum expectation to hear dialogues pronounced in proper Telugu..
"nidHi", "bHaratha", "bHayam"........these words, for example, have to be pronounced with a stress on certain letters. Not even one "othu" was pronounced.
It really saddens to see the language and the pronunciation being taken so lightly by the makers of the movie. And it pains and shocks me at the same time that they could not find someone who can say the words properly!!!.
Very unfortunate

In the name of cartoon they are teaching body shaming to kids. Also it promotes caste system that exists in India. In 2021, you don't want your children to be normalized for caste system. It is one of the disgusting prejudice system that exists in India. This show will not make the society any better if not worse. It also drills to kids as muslims are bad people. Overall I wouldn't recommend this movie.

The film is made via motion capture tech? I checked their official making video on YouTube. Seriously? You make such pathetic movie with mocap? I thought it was a complete computer animated film. Badly done. The characters are made to look like cartoons with no joints in their body.
The characters are also horrible. The film's synopsis says something about Vidyaranya, Harihara-Bukka & a hidden treasure but the entire film is all about Tenali Raman which is not mentioned in the synopsis at all. The film doesn't even do justice to any incidents in Tenali's life as well. There's his mother but no mention of wife; Krishnadevaraya desperately waiting for a poet to fill the 8th seat in his Ashta-diggajas; Tribal cannibals - what in the name of history is this?
I saw the film in hindi on Prime. There are normal village characters who speak Bihari accent. What the hell man! What is that DJ type songs in between with Tenali wearing headphones & pants & dancing around? What was that? Item number?
There is already cartoonish crap on TV about Tenali and live action garbage series too making Tenali a mocking & comic figure. This film adds to that list. Shame. Babies can watch this in the name of cartoons. But this is definitely not for toddlers too as this film makes a mockery of history. It is a torture for the adults. Stay away and take a nap.
