Battle Game in 5 Seconds fails to impress despite an intriguing concept and a great run of episodes in the middle. The animation continuously let it down at every moment, and the show struggled to get going and come to an end. Oh well, we still have the manga, I guess.

Classic story of people who for some reason discover that they have superpowers. Nothing original but still a decent product.
There are all the stereotypes of the genre and the clichés possible and imaginable.

I get the fact that the 1s who made this gave it their all, but come on the anime was loaded from the beginning no trial no suspense no thrill notin to begin with, but luckily it served it's purpose to those who saw it as jewel in their eyes but to me i wasn't amazed.

This anime even though its short but it contains a unique idea which is "decision making" and how can some one make a decision based on what and what to do in order to make even new possible actions to be taken at certain moments.
Even though the anime kept its level the same until the half way "and of course im talking about the approve idea perspective" then it took another dimension.
This idea and this way of thinking and taking action i have never seen it in other animes so thats why it received 9 stars..
if it didn't contain this way of taking actions i might have given it 6 stars for its actions and other things.

Think Death note meets Squid Game meets Battle Royale. The anime suffers from 12 episode disease where there's not enough time to unpack the characters and make you care that much about them. Basically stuff just happens and you go along with it. It's almost like you show up 3/4 into an anime just to watch the ending.
There are a few moments that make the anime interesting but you're just watching people you have no reason to care about trying to defeat each other for some unknown purpose. This is also one of those the main character is smarter than everyone else so he thinks in his head type of anime. Which means you'll be spending lots of time hearing inner monologue and long explanations.
There's plenty that could have been done to make the show better and I believe perhaps to spend more time getting to know the other characters first. In the end of it all it was decent but there isn't enough plot or character development to care beyond that. The entire anime was like a tutorial stage.
