Yes there are a lot of inconsistencies and plot holes on the script but story takes you in anyway and gives a good perspective around how fake social media can easily defamate a person/carrier.
The script is really bad, after the first episode it has nothing to do with reality.
The first problem is that the main character goes and talks to everyone, lies to everyone and no one asks his friend why he did this or why he did it.
The second problem is they use today's technology but never use technology when they need to control who is lying or who is doing it.

All the negative reviews are "busbus".
Great cast and likable series. Nice and pleasant to watch. The music and songs are nicely chosen for this series. More time should have been invested on the script make it suspenseful and exciting.

I have found a good cast of actors, nice imagery and a turn of events that kept me engaged but some points of the script looked ludicrous "this cannot be" and tarnished the overall quality of the series. The Turkish producers need to send their screenwriters to study abroad, they are making big blunders and spoiling their products. A bad score for Neflix this time to include this show in its series catalogue.
I haven't seen this coming. Surprisingly good! The series shows the battle between a crow (figurative) and a lion (fig.), high society and poor people, someone who reached everything in life and someone who wants to reach everything in life. A clash of generations. It has a beautiful and artistic cinematography, gorgeous casting and amazing soundtrack. The music adds so much tension to the story, it really catches the attention. This is a high quality production and you can see, hear and feel it. The only weak point is the script, but this is a Netflix production. Nowadays, most of Netflix Originals has problems with their script. It is nothing special for this series. Bearing this in mind, As The Crow Flies brings a high quality drama with gorgeous talents and an overwhelming soundtrack to the streaming platform.

This show is great for people who want to relax on a Friday night. It builds a good narrative of the "hunter bird" and the "lion" who represent the most important characters in the show. It's basically an average drama show mixed with a narrator who describes the plot like it's Nat Geo. I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch if they're solely interested in the "journalistic" side of it. Not bad.
What generation conflict? It's a conflict between sanity and insanity (referring to human psychopathology). This show should be called "The Rat". It's important to see that the Rat so much wanted to be on top and once she was up (it seems like irrational science fiction) in front of the cameras she had nothing to say as if she was non existent. One point I see here is if you are a Rat (have psycho issues and identity conflict) no matter how high you can climb to the top, you will never be existent or "special".
Giving it 2 ratings because actors played very well. However it should definitely have a different ending. What was the reason that Lale had to resign? She was inspiring a lot of people and giving them hope for making sanity and beauty existent in this society.

The story is good. But the scenes with the wine was way too much. She drinks wine at lunch, at work and at home. You would think that she is an alcoholic. To show elite life is not all about drink and glamour. But overall a good series.

This show has a lot of plot holes that could have been addressed relatively easily. It kind of takes away from the series but still...
Two outstanding performances are from Miray Daner (Asli) and Güliz (Sifanur Gül). In general actresses in the series are really good where the main male actors bore you to death with their soulless, anaemic approach to their roles. When Ibrahim Çelikkol (Kenan) and Burak Yamantürk (Selim) are in the same scene you just want the cringefest to end.
Other problems with the show is, characters behave inconsistently and no back story for Asli was presented of why she does what does which is very needed in that context.
Still, an enjoyable piece that excels at building up tension.
I would've rated this a 7 but to offset the needlessly low score I rated it a bit higher.

Too much non sense on how Asli was advancing yet Lali made it up.. such a great actress with remarkable beauty and the role is so rich.. simply I only loved her!!! Asli was so evil and her acting was like in a teenage movies she might have been a little bit over.. not a big fan of Turkish series but the story is unique I finished it in one night couldn't stop..
It is obvious that the production company made its best for this series. Best places, clothes, make up, cars, buildings etc . The actors and the director perform good. However, the script tells us that the main character makes brilliant plans and she is always lucky. Everybody can be manipulated by text messages.
A young journalism studying aspirant young lady uses her internet mgmt soc media handling very well to make in roads in current high rating news media and is after the key news reader.
We are well informed by story about how to go to top. But rarely a struggle to survive that peak it really takes real metal to work. Scandles, infeidality, work pressures colleagues ambitious friends double standards all shown some times the negative main girls advances are difficult to accept. They could have avoided the gore completely making it in a dream sequence. But still enjoyed the insistment for real truth and how the experience is more powerful than small battles illogical achievements. True wizards will be popular permenantly. Short ugly method of reaching high is worth nothing.

This series was wonderful and terrible at the same time. I love both Birce Akalay and Ibrahim Celikkol and was happy to see them reunited in a series (I really enjoyed them paired together in Siyah Beyaz Ask-which was one of the first Turkish series I ever watched...as such it occupies a special place in my heart.).
This series is wonderfully narrated and pits a team of gen Xers who are at the top of their game in the tv news media reporting (serious journalism)(the lions) vs a up and coming millennial (the bird aka kus) who hasn't even finished her education...in other words no experience.
Lale Kiran is a well respected on camera journalist and she made her way up the ranks by working in Ankara and Afghanistan, aka she worked hard, gained knowledge and earned her position and the respect she is given. She is supported by her husband Sinan a successful restauranteur, two daughters, and her long time partner and friend Kenan. Asli Tuna is an entitled little millennial who thinks that in spite of not having the knowledge or experience that she deserves Lale's job and there is just about nothing she isn't willing to do to get it...lie, cheat, steal, blackmail, manipulate (verbally and sexually), back-stab (figuratively and literally) and maybe even kill. She weaponizes social media in ways to help her advance and to take down others...thus showing some of the dangers of social media today.
This was a big production made for Netflix Turkish series and it really showed: lavish sets, good soundtrack, great costuming and wonderful acting. I found the series wonderfully done, but difficult to watch because it hit a little too close to home for me and I work in health care in a hospital setting. I too am seeing entitled millennials think that they deserve positions that they haven't the experience to do and the bad behavior that ensues when they don't get their way. I am really saddened and worried about what is going to happen when these individuals are reporting the news and providing health care to others when they no longer have ethics, lack the knowledge and have cut corners to get where they are.
The ending of season one was quasi satisfying in that I was glad to see respect given to someone who had earned it, I was glad to see some of the young generation questioning the ethics of reporting fake news and I was glad to see the pool get good use. I personally would have been a lot happier with the ending if we got to watch a bird get a horribly violent comeuppance. Oh well, I guess the ending was alright.

A fun series with no money for the last moment. I enjoy it every second. The beautiful representation of Lali is awesome, as well as the representation of the evil girl is creative.. The end is very fair and different.

I have never seen such poorly written TV show my entire life. Asli's character is so cringeworthy. And how can a popular TV show cast not find a cyberbullly or conveniently ignore somebody who is spreading top secrets of the organization online? And a person who did all the crimes gets to the top at the end of the story. I was expecting her to be caught and taught a lesson. There were several scenes in the series where I was confused what was actually going on. Actors did a good job btw.

I enjoy the storyline because Kus ucusu or Bird Fight is current, real and informative. The top talented Turkish actors such as: Birce Akalay, Ibrahim Celikkol and Mira's Daner explore how skill knowledge and hard work advances generation X to the top. Then a comparison is inserted in how technology by using various platforms of social media advances to the top through these technologies. This 8 part Turkish series wants us as the audience which is more satisfying. It also explores the what is fake news and what is truth in a newscast company. Highly recommend!!

Terrible scenario. A work full of logic errors repeated in every episode and content that is completely independent of reality. It's like the whole country is wondering what's going on with this media company.

The actors are very good, especially Ibrahim and Birce, a couple with such a good chemistry. Also Miray is very talented. I liked the plot, it's very good and different and I watched all the episodes in one day. I hope in a second season, I really need to see this cast working together again.
