Great low budget production of how isolation felt at times during the beginning of the Pandemic. Took me back to those early days of shear disbelief and frustration. Felt Spencer's struggle and evolution as the film went on, left hanging with questions at the end.

Saw this movie at a recent film fest, had no idea what to expect, and it ended up really impressing me!
The story is strong, and watching the lead come to grips with his isolation, and the sins of his past, was powerful stuff.
Really thought the production was well done, and emphasized the story and spencer's journey.

I thought the cinematography and music were both exceptional. We can all relate to the story, too, with COVID isolation. Well done!
Great acting and directing and super timely. Beautiful locations and cool score. A time capsule of the pandemic we all experienced...

A well thought out story that many people can relate to in some way. The year plus of lockdown that we all faced was a difficult time. This movie captures the haunting reality that many had experienced. Well acted and with a surprising twist, it's a film that'll move you and remind you of the challenging years we all had to endure.
Beautifully shot 'Alone' feels like a haunting Fly On The Wall experience inside a cynical Anti-Masker's home. As the Covid cases rise in the film, you're transported to a time of fewer deaths and unknown hysteria. Les nails the role of the bitter bigot, which is a departure from all his roles. Alone shows the early fears and still present danger of the virus. Great cautionary tale to skeptics.

If you want to watch a movie that single handedly portrays what the first year of COVID was like, look no further. This movie and the story it tells is at times a bit too real to the reality that many of us lived. At times a bit mundane, it clearly depicts what life would be like as a lonely person facing their demons and experiences of a life lived. Stirring and emotionally charged, Les Mahoney does a good job of showing you just how ugly things can be for folks out there living in their world of ignorance.
