When Bobby vomits on the side of the road, the action is real. On a dare by the cast and crew actor Brandon Cater attempted to drink what was to be the prop vomit, a lukewarm mixture of stale orange juice and chunky salsa, and the result was captured on film and edited into the final sequence.
Prior to filming, actor Brandon Cater had his wisdom teeth removed. Prior to the surgery, director Dan Woodard requested that Brandon save the teeth for inclusion in the film. They were eventually used in the barn fight scene.
