The main filming location is Barkerville, British Columbia, Canada. Barkerville was the main town of the 1860's Cariboo Gold Rush in It is preserved as a historic town. As a National Historic site, located on the Cariboo Wagon Trail, it was been restored in the 1950's to the form if it's heyday of the 1860's. It has often been used as a filming location for its historical accuracy of the structures and all props.
